marnie: I MEANT it kills me to say that i would get rid of the first nightmare bc the first one is such a good fucking movie

jack: it sounds like it would've been an awful zombie movie and i'm upset that it wasn't made in 1986

jack: oh that makes much more sense

marnie: the original is historic truly the first nightmare is truly a classic and i hope you know it kills every inch of my body to say that

marnie: and now i'm gonna go watch nightmare on elm street thank you

mari: idk i guess women know more about it plus you know, i'm good friends with allie so she tells me stuff too

mari: yeah, those aren't good pregnancy advice movies haha

jack: i didn't know you two hung out /that much/

marnie: but you gave me two of my favorite movies jack and it's a hard decision because i love both films

marnie: well in that case the nightmare on elm street sequels tend to be worse than the scream sequels bc wes craven didn't do another nightmare movie until he did wes cravens new nightmare

marnie: and he directed all the screams so ultimately i'm gonnna have to keep scream

jack: i love both films too, but that's why i think it's a question worth examining.

jack: anytime

jack: hm. i see your point about most of the nightmare sequels being trash, but the original is /so good/ that i feel like it almost makes up for that

jack: i respect your opinion but...i think i'd keep nightmare on elm street.

mari: that's just what pregnancy is all about, mood swings, weird cravings, a lot goes on.

mari: and having twins? i feel like that makes it even more intense.

mari: pickles? that's a pretty normal pregnancy craving, don't be concerned there haha

jack: how do you know so much?

mari: what do you mean, you think? what's happening?

mari: no, you're not a mind reader plus she's going through a lot with you know, being pregnant with twins.

jack: well, the constant mood swings can make it kinda difficult to pin down exact emotions

jack: even if i /did/ ask her, whatever answer she gives isn't guaranteed to last long
