It seems to me that some people don’t understand that a headcanon is an opinion. As long as it’s well intentioned/not inherently problematic, someone else shouldn’t make the call on if your opinion is wrong. A person can disagree with what you think but they shouldn’t outright label is problematic.
Personally, I don’t see anything wrong with darkening those two’s skintones a bit because of this
When this is your range of darker skinned characters, it isn’t surprising that people would want to diversify them a bit more in art and edits.
