I can’t for the life of me remember which lesson it was, but it was one near the end of season 3 or 4??? And Solomon even said smth like hehe I’m the only one who could actually marry them

I was truly expecting them to touch that theme and maybe work around it??? Like first acknowledging why it was forgiven (I mean yeah the 3 realms wherent in the best position before rad, but still) and make it a plot point to try and change the rules to then get officially married

Another big issue is the fact that it’s been, what? 2?? 3???? Years (in game) at most, just a blink of the eye for demons and angels but suddenly thousands of years of war and just not getting along dissapeared so quickly????? They stated a lot that many demons where starting to accept both humans and angels, but a huge other portion where in complete disagreement still, including important families of aristocrats or smth. If now the marriage is legal and not frown upon (as someone as important as an avatar is marrying a human!) then what happened to get it to that point? You mean to tell me there was 0 issues?

Just imagine if st the beginning of the game, yes the proposal, then we go to Diavolo and say hehe we want to get married and Diavolo gets quite nervous and tells us that wouldn’t be wise atm, there is a lot more we need to work between realms before that could be possible (a similar response to the one I stated Diavolo had before in the og). And now we have a plot in which we have to convince him (is not that he doesn’t want to, but that he isn’t sure that the balance between realms is strong enough now) maybe we talk to some of the important demon families and try to convince them, maybe we go to some silly ahh quests and at the end Diavolo is convinced. Once the marriage is announced maybe there is commotion and we need to help settle it down, maybe the demon brother we are marrying makes a huge speak or something ( since we also don’t know that much in what the actual fuck is their jobs as avatars) and yeah many demons are still on disagreement but many others are starting to understand

And this is without even touching the angels, since as I remember in one of the hidden lessons in hard; angels see themselves as protectors of humanity (the lesson was about Simeon and Diavolo talking about humanity and which side is better for them while Solomon was quietly/ pissed off?? Seeing how they don’t consider humanity able to protect itself or something like that) Don’t you guys think that the angels, could be against the marriage? Some angels might fear this could tarnish the humans souls if just everyone can marry a demon now. I’m pretty sure angels have WAY worse stigmas about demons than the other way around (seeing how luke acted around the demons at the start of the games, children often just repeat what they hear others say and believe what their superiors say. I don’t think it’s far fetched he was like that since he has heard such bad things about demon) And wouldn’t that ALSO be an interesting plot point??
