Hi Skippy, I don’t believe the article about Kate crying. The source—New Idea— is unreliable & I’ve never heard of a rehearsal for a Christening. Even if there was one, I doubt that Kate would be present as she did not have an integral role such as being a Godparent. Finally, I don’t see Kate crying over this Christening—more like laughing 😂. (Maybe she’s like me—when she laughs really hard she cries!)

Also, THANK YOU to the poster who found the original date on the family Christening photo. The theory was that it was taken the day before, but I somehow KNEW that it was taken way before that. It was driving me crazy because I didn’t know how to prove it.

According to New Idea, the Duchess of Cambridge wasn’t happy when she learned that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex would make their son’s baptism private. Middleton reportedly felt that they are disrespecting the monarchy as they continue to “play by their own rules.”

During the rehearsal for Archie’s christening, Markle allegedly confronted Middleton and warned the future queen to not steal their thunder. The palace staff was not surprised with the heated confrontation since according to them, tensions have been brewing between the duchesses for a while.

“It started when Meghan asked Kate not to do anything to steal her thunder at the christening. Kate was pretty taken aback and said she would never do that, which only set Meghan off more,” Buckingham Palace sources told the outlet.

Also, Markle was reportedly upset when she learned that Middleton went to see her friend Serena Williams at Wimbledon. Markle told Middleton a lot of silly and unreasonable things because the new mom had a lot of things that she wanted to get off her chest.

“Kate was very upset after and was visibly shaken. She knows Meghan is emotional at the moment and was taking everything out on her at the rehearsal, but it didn’t make it any easier to take,” the insider said.

“She tried to keep it in but ended up leaving the rehearsal in tears and Prince William had to comfort her. It was awful.”

This wasn’t the first time Markle reportedly made Middleton cry. A family friend confirmed to People that prior to Prince Harry and Markle’s wedding the two duchesses had a clash over Princess Charlotte’s dress for Markle’s big day.

Princess Charlotte was among the bridesmaids on his uncle Harry’s wedding day. But there were very few fittings and everything was left to the last minute that it became very stressful for everyone involved.

Middleton was reportedly “left in tears” over the incident, but it remains unclear what really upset the Duchess of Cambridge. Several sources said that it could be due to the amount of stress surrounding those involved in the wedding.
