minako had never ran away from home but she’d often look a lot like the girl in front of her, whenever she was out playing as a kid. perhaps that was the reason she didn’t assume that right away. “ alright. if you think like that, i won’t stop you ” although she didn’t think it was necessary. “ just cause? ” she raised an eyebrow lightly. “ is that a good enough reason? ”

  “Yeah. It would but ya can’t trust youkai. They don’t like listenin’ ta orders. Believe me, I’ve been fightin’ things like them for years. I’m older than I look, just to let ya know. Claymore’s don’t age once they reach their ‘prime’. For example, I stopped agin’ when I was eighteen. So I’m actually over forty now.”

   “Understood. The just of it is Raven will be out of commission for at least a month, if not longer. She lost quite a bit of blood in that battle, along with extensive internal injuries. If I may say so… I suggest you put someone else in charge of the team while she recuperates. Yes Malekai is supposed to be one of the leaders, but mentally we do not believe he is suitable for that position right now.”

  “So you’re our elder.” Rias concluded, “Huh, the more you know. I know not everyone here is human but wow, that’s a long time for fighting.” He seemed amazed. “But you’re right... that’s like saying wild animals would be pets. Except almost all are pretty extinct...”

              she hadn’t exactly looked for a job just yet – or even knew how. she had no qualifications, no experience and could barely talk to people. she really wouldn’t be a good employee at all… and all the things she could do… well, they weren’t good enough. “ i’m… not sure ” eun-mi paused. “ wh-what do people usually give each other…? ” 

　 　 He’d usually refuse to gain a promotion, aside from raises, since being upfront with the customers wasn’t his best trait in the work area. He’d fumble with his words and flush when he makes mistakes... 

            minako hadn’t thought of her as a beggar when she first saw the girl – although she didn’t look well at all, but the blonde had just assumed she was sick or something of the sort. quickly tying up her hair in a high ponytail so it wouldn’t bother her, the girl tilted her head, watching her for a moment. “ it’s okay, you don’t have to repay me. want me to help you walk? you can lean on me ” she paused. “ is there a reason you don’t want to? ” 

A person? That was a strange word to address someone. “Yes, I have.” The brunet nodded, still finding a bit strange by her previous question. 

“Is there something that I can help you, miss…?”

A sigh of relief. She was finally getting somewhere... Hopefully.

She contemplated what he said while slowly chewing another bite of the meal. “It’s like…” Lucia started speaking with her mouth full but then paused to swallow before continuing. “Like the beginning of a movie or somethin’! Maybe he’s somethin’ super powerful and if the curse is lifted then he’ll give you a reward for helpin’ him out! Did he ever say what he was before he was cursed?”

im still sick...but ill get to replies and log off

            eun-mi hadn’t thought this first once she left home. she had taken most of her family money with her ( which wasn’t much to begin with ) but most of it was used to pay off the guards so she could leave and now… well, she didn’t have much left and finding work hadn’t been easy for someone like her. “ i-i just… want to give a friend something… ” even if she had no idea what.

im finnally up.. i had to see my dad off at the airport at like 4am in the morning, ill get to whatever i need to then lurk i guess

ive been busy with fam stuff, and i dont feel like doing anything now..

  He laughed softly, a wide grin spreading on his face. “You really haven’t heard the full story? It is sort of a long one though, I wouldn’t mind telling it to you. Or at least a condensed version, I suppose. My sister used to tell it to me all the time growing up.”
