Me Before You--Jojo Moyes

So happy that I got the chance to read this book!! This was one of the books I was dying to read this year and now I have!! i loved loved this story and loved the characters of Will and Louisa (Lou). I also loved how it had such a different story line unlike any book I’ve read. However, I don’t know how I feel about the ending. It made me want to hope for more and it was so grim...I’m still contemplating how I feel... my emotions are confused...

Holy crap there were so many gorgeous quotes, how could I pick just one?! So here’s 3:

Water for Elephants--Sara Gruen

I am glad i got to read the story and thought it was pretty good, but it was slightly boring and I kinda needed incentive to finish it. The story seemed to drag on and on and I kinda lost interest into the characters. I also saw the movie a few years ago when it came out and I really liked it...I think I liked the movie better than the book...eek (yes, I know, one of the reader’s sins). Nevertheless, not bad, but not phenomenal. Perhaps in another life....

Ariel -- Sylvia Plath

Call me Cliche if you must, but I adore Plath! She speaks to my soul and I am so happy and “deep” when I read her poetry, you can certainly feel the pain and the sorrow she endured in her later years whilst writing these poems... I particularly love “Lady Lazarus,” “Daddy,” and “Morning Song.” I will never tire of reading these. 2X a charm!

The Girl on the Train – Paula Hawkins

I am so glad I finally got to read this book! It was certainly a page-turner, I think I was up until 1 in the morning reading it…. I definitely see what the hype is all about now… I liked the story, but couldn’t help think that Rachel’s character was a bit unrealistic and a complete hot mess! Nevertheless, loved this book!

Ready for the movie!
