i’m addicted to social media because it’s the closest i can get to being omnipotent. it’s the easiest way to gobble up everything, to walk a mile in every pair of shoes and live a day as every human. tiktoks with ten likes and shopping lists on parking lot grounds. chips of paint and rusty bolts. everything my parents have ever owned. a story, an anecdote, a recommended song. maybe one day i will even see the colors that shrimp can see and sing the songs only dogs can hear . but for now i see what a random 20 year old has to say about homestuck at 3am.
