Me on day one of sobriety. To me at three months of sobriety. I was heavily addicted to meth, as my blog can clearly show. Before I was a heavy tweaker, I was a heroin addict for years before that. I had come to the conclusion that drugs where going to take my life, if I don’t take it first. And I was comfortable with that frightening conclusion. I had no means to stop until my best friend reached out to me offering help. He could see I was struggling with life and my substance abuse was the center of it. Even tho I hadn’t asked for the help. He gave me what i needed to finally live my life the way it should be. Three months into it and I am so happy I got sober. I know my recovery is nowhere near over and i have a lot of healing and personal amends to take care of, but its amazing that I can finally feel my soul. One that I thought had been dead for many, many years. IF I CAN DO IT, I KNOW YOU CAN TOO. I love you all, thanks for reading, stay safe <3
