{two simple rules} I have found that most of my clients love the look of mixed patterns but are afraid to attempt it themselves in fear of “messing up“. Following these two simple rules, it’s really rather easy. 1) the fabric patterns should have at least one color in common and 2) one pattern must be larger than the other. In this editorial look I styled, both the blouse and skirt have black in the pattern and one pattern is larger than the other. Easy right? Your turn!
