I haven't written about it a lot but between the ages of 13 and 18 Vladimir was in an extremely codependent relationship with a much older man who acted as his mentor and a father figure prior to their relationship becoming twisted after that man's marriage fell apart and his delusional attachment to Vladimir. Vladimir cared for him and wanted to make him happy because he felt his lover was all he had and the only one he was useful to. The relationship weighed on him because he was too young to replace somebody's wife, but he interpreted is as guilt for being in an affair and not properly married and in love. That's why growing up as fast as possible so he could get married was his only secret wish, especially after the older man broke it off with him.

I just randomly sent a message to that girl from high school i haven't talked to in a really long time since we graduated and i honestly don't remember if the last time we saw each other if we were friendly or not i hope I don't embarrass myself. She's like a successful lawyer now and I'm a bum
