here's the thing. i completely respect drug use, i still use drugs recreationally. i think it's normal and fine to want to be high sometimes for fun. there is no moral judgement to my post about kratom. the thing is, when people make the decision to get high, i believe they should be fully educated on what they're putting in their body, what the risks are, what adverse symptoms to watch out for, and how to do their drug of choice safely. when people don't know how dangerous a drug is, because it's being sold and touted as an "herbal remedy" or a "safe legal alternative", THAT'S where i have a huge issue with it- because if someone doesn't know what they're putting in their body and what the dangers are, then that choice & autonomy is completely stripped from them. you can't make an informed & risk-aware decision about a drug when the people who sell it REALLY don't want you to know what the danger really is. i'm not saying never do drugs, i'm saying please do your research and be very careful. do drugs SAFELY.
