Genuinely the narrative of Shilo Norman infuriates me because what do you mean Jack Kirby created a Black boy to be Scott's successor as Mister Miracle and his first appearance includes Scott & Barda taking him in, Scott saying "I see me" when he looks at Shilo while Barda implying she sees Auralie and them both promising not to fail him. And the tagline of this issue is Shilo "is soon to change the destiny and give new purpose to the life of Mister Miracle" btw!! What do you mean when the series ends Scott & Barda leave Earth and Shilo ALONE and then when they come back he's in COLLEGE!!! But then when Barda & Scott look at Shilo flying around as Mister Miracle they embrace each other and Scott LITERALLY SAYS it makes him feel like a proud father and Barda echoes the sentiment. And DON'T FORGET that the themes of Fourth World in general revolve around biological vs. chosen families and the ability to choose good despite/in spite of your parentage. ALL THIS just so each new ScottBarda writer can make another biological White baby while most people don't even know Shilo exists I'LL RUN DC COMICS OVER WITH MY CAR
