Since it became extremly dangerous pirates tended to just take the longer route and the quantity of pirates traversing the siren infested areas diminished a lot, which made sirens in need to hunt outside of the siren waters and made it more dangerous for them as well since they could also get captured/killed and sold etc etc…

Once the captain (which back then wasnt a captain still) had been treasoned by a group of her crewmates and their captian and almost left for dead in this area of the sea. She was almost killed and ate by a group of mermaids but she made a deal with this small group of sirens. She would bring them a whOLE CREw for them to eat and kill without danger of the sirens being hunted since she knew the siren population had diminished by this. They accepted. And so she did when she made it safely back to an island thanks to the mermaids. long story short she indeed was able to trick the crew of pirates and the captain since they tought she died and basically got them to go into the infested waters in which with the help of a small crew of her own and the sirens they were able to feed the traitors to the mermaids.

From then she woud becoms the ONLY pirate to be able to traverse this waters which such ease, no one knew how exactly and there were rumors and legends of this Pirate captain who was able to comunicate with sirens and they even seemed to respect her! But anyway the now lady Captain tricked and fought with crews of unloyal or just anyone she deemed to be disgusting and awful traitor pirates to feed the sirens which in exchange would let her pass the waters. This sirens took even a liking to her and in exchange for bigger eh…parts of “food” they brought trinkets and whatever they deemed valuable and such.

Till one day a particuarly serious and even intimidating siren aproched the ship when The captain was “feeding” the rest of the mermaids and brought a PrECIOUS dagger and solemnly got a whole enemy captain’s body to eat for herself. She was not playful and energetic as the others sirens and that just caught the captain’s attention oh so very much. And well yeah it goes on like that
