Thought I might try to write some backstory/thoughts about my photographs when I post them. How they ended up as they did and how my thoughts went when I stood there with my camera.
I took this picture last summer out on a small island out in the Stockholm archipelago. The island is an old fortress the swedes started to build when WW1 started. (although they didnt finished it until after the war had stopped) The middle of the island is covered with cement ( as seen in the foreground) and the base of the fortress is based under it. It gives the island a really interesting and wierd look with the nature and the contrast with the smooth cement area, and I’ll probably post more pictures from this place
I really like how the cement and the trees meet in a hard line and the dead, almost gray tree burst out in the center.
Shot on Kodak Portra 120mm which probably is my favorite film.
