#i just don't think we need individual character pages for most people #and the content on those pages was so incredibly low quality anyway #i want my focus to be primarily on keeping up with the gang's pages which are in severe need of rewriting #and on the episode pages which need unifying re: layout #tons of unneeded fluff on pages that's repeated elsewhere anyway #its clear that most pages were just made to put funny quotes on and that's like. more than half of the text on the page #does mac's cousin brett need his own page. no. he can get a mention on the new mcdonald family page lol #i also got rid of bunny and candy's pages and made a kelly family page (they are in One scene where they speak dhjsnf)#but donald gets to keep his own page bc i expect more in s18 <3 #anyway yeah ive been skimming most pages and doing some minor maintenance and minor rewriting #cricket's page got rewritten and i did some quick editing for bonnie's page too #any of the character pages i'm keeping will definitely need fleshing out but i didn't really add anything just fixed up whatever was there #because of the span between edits a lot of shit ends up getting added repeatedly in different sections lol #cricket's page had like 3 mentions of him getting teabagged so i just picked a section to stick it in and cut the rest #all the minor character blurbs can definitely be expanded but theyre serviceable and not actively offensive or anything now lmao #so many female character pages are. um. 🤡 really bad. barbara's is next on my list.#but holy fuck the misogyny. ive deleted so much subjective bullshit and there is SO much more #ruby taft's page was crazy btw in like the exact opposite way #many such cases. bonnie's personality section was pretty rancid too #im undecided on deleting carmens page too i don't really think she has enough to justify it being standalone #like she sure is mac's ex girlfriend and the parent of dee's surrogate child. theres not That much to say other than that #the rest of the info on her page (that i deleted) was just talking about her dick 😮‍💨#i've almost hit 2.5k edits on the wiki atp 🫡#ada speaks

i love the argument for writing off charlie's recent (s17) behaviour toward frank as him seeing frank solely as a father figure, because it's not only immediately outright disproved by frank's introductory season

but you also just end up sounding insane. you mean the two characters canonically, legally considered ex-husbands? you think they're just platonic father and son? you don't think maybe charlie could have had ulterior motives suggesting he and frank become "friends with benefits" instead of suggesting that frank adopt him? charlie doesn't demand shelley get a blood test, just frank, who he has been sleeping with.
