Here’s what I don’t understand; the houseguests have been targeting Da'vonne for weeks because she’s supposedly a “threat”, but at the same time they mock Day behind her back about how she hasn’t won any comps. Even Paul said he wasn’t worried if Day got picked for the veto comp because she’s never won anything. So how is she a threat? They’re right, she hasn’t won any comps in the 2 seasons she’s been on Big Brother…so what exactly is “threatening” about her? Basically, calling Da'vonne a threat is the houseguests way of saying, “I am intimidated by strong, black women, but I need a way to disguise my motives fueled by my internalized racism/misogyny".
