I've been dealing with a really hard mental health stretch that's kept me from being able to work consistently, and I've fallen behind on rent and utilities. I got SNAP assistance back recently, which helps with food, but I'm still short on rent ($725 including August) and utilities (~$300).

My roommate has been really patient and kind about it, but I'm worried that I've leaned on them too much and I think about it all the time.

I'm doing better lately. Starting to send out job applications, and slowly working my way back into being able to work at commissions again. If you've been waiting on a commission from me, thank you for your patience, I promise I haven't forgotten and I'm working through the fear that's been keeping me stuck. Updates are coming as I'm able!

Hi, I'm a queer genderfluid POC and I live with my mother, sisters, and two pets. After living with my late abusive father, we have moved out and we're trying to make ends meet, but I have been fired from two jobs recently. My current one is making us less than $500 and while my mother and I have been applying for some full time jobs, it's been difficult with the current market. Made even worse with the chilling weather and the lack of a car.

We are going in for interviews next week, but we desperately need money before February 12th. If we don't get another job soon, we will be on the streets in potentially negative weather, if it doesn't let up.

I genuinely hate asking for help, and I know we're all suffering so much right now, things are so tough for everyone. But with the job market being so horrible, and bills piling up, I'm forced to reach out and ask for help. I am now behind on my rent, which is close to $1000, plus my phone bill and power bill is overdue. I have to pay my own insurance as I don't qualify for medicaid. My disabilities limit the jobs I can apply for, and they're really not calling back.

I promise, even if it's just what change you can toss my way, it helps. Don't hurt yourself to help me, please. But if you can spare some, I would greatly appreciate it.

July 23rd: I was approved for state disability. I will be receiving 60 dollars in a few days. Ill get my first actual pay check sent on the 5th. This will not be enough to cover all my rent and pay my bills in time. My friend and I are also planning to get an apartment together. We are hoping to move mid august. I wont actually get the money to cover the deposit and my share of the rent until the end of august I will be over drafting to cover it but it will be a lot easier to catch up. Was recommended I remake my post. I dont like it being super long anyways. I have received a couple donations and they have helped a lot. I am still over drafted by a good amount. Please share or donate if you can. I am struggling to make rent every month and it often overdrafts me by a lot. Currently applying for state disability while I wait for my ssi/ssdi trial in august. Hopefully they are both fruitful Small update: July 14. I am no longer overdrafted thanks to my aunt. Someone helped me fill out the form for state disability. That does mean I have to stop working.
