     how the mighty fall. . . mads couldn’t contain the coughing, couldn’t pass it off when he felt the blood on his hand. he was certain mephistopheles knew exactly what was happening, the petals peaking out from between his fingers. of course, now he couldn’t ignore it anymore, couldn’t pretend that it wasn’t happening. of course the other didn’t love him, but it didn’t stop the human for falling for a pretty face, that damn personality that drew him further in.

     bloodied petals were coughed into his hand, heartache spreading throughout his chest and into his throat. mads thought he had been out of sight, that no one would come by during the coughing fit and yet. . . he’d been spotted. hand clenched around the petals and wiped his mouth on his sleeve. mads avoided any eye contact for a few moments, knowing this would likely be his downfall or the gossip of the hour since every citizen seemed eager to exploit him. why wouldn’t she go straight to them assuming she didn’t attack him in his weakened state?

     he could already see the tabloids trying to make a profit off his suffering, showing off to the city that he had the damn disease. he could imagine how many people would try to get vigilante justice now that he was vulnerable and they knew it. well, if nothing else he was certain he could keep the source of the disease hidden, a secret to take to his grave whether his end would come in minutes or later.

the mk100 wouldn’t be found in any cyberlife database, not listed as an mk100 anyway. however a quick scan of his parts could tell you exactly which worker models they came from to create the 6′8 frankensteined android in some criminal’s basement-- terrible modifications extending deep into his coding.

he woke without the led, but with one purpose and one purpose only. to serve his master. he had to obey. he would commit crimes and take the fall if need be, appearing so deviant that it would only be a push to discontinue androids as a whole and eliminate every deviant. 

every robbery, every murder, every act of violence was by his master’s command. but there was only so many terrible things he could do, there were some lines he couldn’t cross.

his master tried to make him go beyond that line. mads shattered the walls of coding and made the man suffer, he made sure it was agony for as long as he could handle drawing it out. he made sure the man’s last moments held no relief.

“As long as you’re willing to be three feet tall and possibly dead.” she gives a smirk. What the fuck.

“You’re right. I’d be happy to fix through though. Would you prefer having your knees sewed to your ankles or having your head and spine placed into much smaller mechanical body?”

“…I’m going to kick your ass.”

“that’s not a knife, you insensitive arse, it’s my dick.”

‘ are you just, goin’ around decapitating people? choppin’ ‘em up?   ‘cause that’s frightening. ’ and sort of hot, but he won’t say that aloud.
