So as a kid I had a real bad friendship break up and since the both of us bonded over Bratz I took it out on them which is why Portia looks like That

So to destain Portia I stuck in her in a Ziploc full of cream developer and left her out in the sun for a week.

It got rid of some stains on her body at least 🙃 (her face not so much)

After that I mess I tried again with just acne cream and left her out in the sun hoped like hell the color would come back to her body like the last doll I restored

She got color back in everything BUT her torso (and those damn ass stains on her face are STILL there 🙃)

After this mess I stuck her creme developer again but just her head this time

I also grabbed a Play Sportz Yasmin as body donor for her (I still have the head if anyone wants it)

Finally this woman was completely restored (I also had a brief scare where I thought the developer shrunk her head cuz it got very hard) and now here she is reunited with her daughter

Another old doll of mine, I have no idea who she is but she was wearing Roxxi Twiinz top so I chose to save her for that reason

First thing I did was repaint the boots (they were also bitten but I didn't gaf)

I washed, shampoo, conditioned, and boil washed her like Yasmin (she also had a tag in her head for the last 30 years)

I then noticed she had a mark on her face and that's where my troubles began

I did leave her out in the sun with acne cream and saran wrap but then I had the bright idea of wrapping her body in a plastic bag to protect it from the elements and ended up bleaching her legs and causing some yellowing and ofc staining them (ignore the marks in her legs they were already there)

That was fun 🙃

So I tried again and put her out in the sun with JUST acne cream and it managed to get her clean again and also brought color back to her legs again

I also conditioned her again and it made her hair even more soft

This is Bratz The Movie Yasmin, an old doll of mine as a kid, and she was a real favorite. My doll lore for her is that she was Yasmin Prime; essentially I loved the character and always bought a ton of her dolls but couldn't comprehend having multiples of the same character so I made all of them be like sisters and cousins of Yasmin (who's names all began with Y). I made Movie Yasmin be Yasmin Prime cuz I considered her the ultimate Yasmin doll for having articulation and rooted lashes.

So I started off by scrubbing her down with soap and water and once she was clean I put conditioner in her hair (and left it there a long while cuz I was taking break from working on multiple dolls, see the other WIP over here) and brushed out all the knots and tangled left in her 20 something year old hair

Surprise surprise she still has the tag on her head after all these years

Then I left her hair in boiling water for about 10 minutes and left her to dry (with this other girl I have no idea who is)

And now here she is

This outfit was cute but I wasn't feeling it so I redressed her again

Also here's the hair from the back it's so gorge

Now she guards Babyz Yasmin together with Glamor Kit Yasmin (another doll I restored)

So I got a hold of that Aurora and Maleficent 2 pack 2nd hand and restyled them

I first washed her hair and recurled it and following a tutorial used some hairspray to keep the curls intact (and some hair wax to try to tame some fly aways)

then came my next challenge: her dress

I bought this one Barbie princess gown (guess where it's from 😏) to dress her in and was really hoping her fuck ass rectangular body wouldn't be a problem when dressing her

(it was)

And so I improvised

I tested the dress on that leftover movie Barbie I got my Ballet Wishes legs for

It fit ok enough but I also had a spare belly button body around and wanted to see if I could swap out the limbs with either this doll or Aurora's

(I couldn't)

So after all the carnage I just settled for swapping out the movie doll's hands and putting in Aurora's legs

Granted the movie body isn't as slim as a belly button but the dress still went on decently (+ she's taller than Maleficent now)
