forgive me if youve said this before, but where did the inspo for bombita come from? how long ago did you make her? she is seriously one of my favorite courier OCs ive seen, shes just so unique and fits into the world so well :D

Originally, I didn't make Bombita a rodeo clown. She started out as a concept that was almost like a bootleg version of the Courier, so to speak XD. I was just playing along with the antics Fallout sometimes throws at its characters, so she went by the name "Courier 6.5" and actually took over Courier Six's job after they ended up dying in an attack after leaving Goodsprings (ironic, I know). Even back then, though, she still had the same premise as someone who enjoyed explosives.
From there, I kept looking at different things and found stuff about rodeo clowns, rodeo clown OCs for other series, and rodeo clown aesthetics. So I thought, why not have her play a character? Something that relates to her love of explosives while also letting her fill the role of Courier Six for the sake of the Fallout New Vegas story. That's when I made Bombita ^_^ She went through different designs before I settled on the one she has now. It didn't take me too long, but from Courier 6.5 to Bombita, I'd say it took about a month or so for her concept to fully develop.
I really like that New Vegas is already so thematic with everything. Learning about old establishments that are both obscure and iconic, like the Clown Motel, inspired me to keep building on her story until she became the character she is today.
Working at the Clown Motel in Nevada, Bombita the rodeo clown took on the job of Courier Six to earn some extra caps. What should have started as a simple delivery job turned into something life-changing not only for her, but for the fate of the entire Mojave!
I also love that, aside from a few lore drops in Lonesome Road, Courier Six can basically be anyone. With that in mind, I thought it would be fun to create a Courier Six who could stand on her own as an individual character while still carrying out the important role the Courier plays throughout the story! She means a lot to me not only cause I put time into her but tbh she's a character I've been able to use as a reflection of my growth throughout the years when I first started fallout in 2023 vs now π₯Ή
