part doesn’t believe mammon, given how he is. on the other, it would be extremely interesting or a great learning opportunity to learn about human sleepwalking, why it happens, how to help or stop it, etc. all that stuff, because he’s a huge nerd
when you basically confirm what he said, embarrassment painting your features, he’s almost vibrating with excitement. breakfast forgotten, he immediately bombards you with various questions
to nobody’s surprise, he knows quite a bit on the topic already, but he’d never pass up the opportunity to ask questions or confirm what he’s read with someone who actually experiences it
you decide to humor him. because 1) you cant ignore the excited sparkle in his eyes, how you have his undivided attention and 2) everybody else is here and awake, and they should know since you’re, ykow… living with them. they need to know how to deal with it, how your sleepwalking manifests, possible dangers, triggers and how to stop it.
so you tell them all, but make direct eye-contact with Satan as you do so. you make sure your answers are direct and not-confusing, but also put emphasis that it varies from person to person and that how your sleepwalking itself might vary from time to time
despite the child-like glee in his eyes, he makes sure to ask what to do in the event they catch you sleepwalking. the few times he’s seen Belphie sleepwalk, he simply let it run its course – he’s a high ranking demon, so not much could hurt him.
but you? you’re a human. sure, your magical abilities are continuously growing and you have them to summon if you’re in danger, but if you’re asleep and walking around? in the Devildom? you won’t know what’s going on, let alone be able to cast complex spells or summon them.
so even if he’s extremely excited over this, your safety is 100% his first priority.
so you tell them that if you’re doing something that could be dangerous, that they should wake you up. or if they dont want to deal with it, they can wake you up. but since the nature of your sleepwalking is… humorous, to say the least, if they wanna watch and see what happens thats also an option.

being the nerd he is, he’s in the library of the HoL, sitting comfortably on the side of one of the couches and nose-deep inside a book.
it’s one that you had recommended to him, a human-world classic that you liked. so obviously, he had to read it. and so far, he was enjoying himself. while he loves Devildom books, there’s a special charm and perspective to be found in human literature that demon books simply lack.
he’s so immersed in this book, that it actually takes a while for him to notice your presence.
it isnt until you start stomping around that he notices -- hell, it isnt even the noise. its the vibrations you’re making that catches his attention.
his head snaps up from the book to look around, and he’s greeted with you, running around like a headless chicken. there’s so much power behind each step, and if he currently wasnt watching you he wouldve thought it was thunder. you’re making the books that lie on the shelves wiggle a bit, but not enough to fall.
even if it was, he’d be too stunned to do much other than gape wide-eyed at you.
the second thing he registers are the sounds.
oh god. those sounds. Mammon wasn’t exaggerating when he said you sounded possessed.
you sound absolutely insane -- high-pitched giggling and wheezing, accompanied by shrieks and shrills that he didnt even know a human could make
you’re stomping around as loudly as possible, a maniac grin on your face whilst giggling hysterically at some thing he cannot see. you’re like a huge toddler on the loose
he’s baffled. you said that you did weird shit, but he never expected... whatever the hell this is.
then you make eye contact with him.
all goes deathly quiet. he freezes, back growing rigid as he stares at you with alarm.
you crouch, eyes squinting and face scrunching up as you look at him. you are further proving that a demonic toddler has possessed your body.
your face breaks into an expression of child-like awe, like you’re seeing something for the first time.
“woahh...”
his mind races to think of spells and potions and anything else that can rid someone of possession.
then before he knows it, you’re run-waddling out of the room. jesus christ he’s never seen you move that fast how the actual fuck-
despite the surprise, he’s quick to stand and chase after you. of course, when he needs you to be loud, there’s no sound to be heard.
when he glances in the dining hall, he finds you seated at one of the chairs, next to the one Lucifer sits at. you’re aggressively munching on some snacks, glossed over eyes staring off into space.
he approaches you slowly, unsure of what to do. on one hand, he knows what to do -- wake you up or guide you back to bed. but on the other hand, this has been as amusing as it was shocking. you’re not in any harm, not close to hurting yourself, so he continue to observe.
slowly, he makes his way over to the table and sits down directly in front of you. you don’t respond, continuing to completely fucking inhale the chips that you’re eating.
after a few moments you pause, your face twisting into... disgust? confusion?? something else??? god if he knows. all he knows is that he’s never quite seen an expression like it and he tries his best to hold down the laughter
you then twist over to the (empty) head of the table. Lucifer’s seat. you point at whatever invisible entity is there
“you’re a bitch”
followed promptly by you shoving the hand back into the bag and stuffing your mouth. your facial expression morphs into one that screams ‘fight me i dare you’ as you chew louder than Beel
you are very confused when you’re awoken by the sound of barely concealed laughter and banging, sitting at the table and fingers covered in crumbs of chips and salt.
satan looks up from his position --faceplanted into the table and fists hitting it as he laughs-- to look at you.
you must have some weird expression, because he slams his face back into the table and positively howls
"In the human world, we make goals for how we want to change or want to do in the new year. It's a fresh start. So I thought it'd be fun if we all made resolutions," MC explained. They handed out cards and markers while to everyone. "You don't have to share, but this will be a reminder as the year goes on."

Lucifer
He took the card and flipped it over in his hands, thinking what he wanted to do. His eyes trailed back to MC as they finished passing out the cards. They looked up at the ceiling while they thought of their own resolution.
Lucifer looked back down at his own card and took out his favorite pen.
Ensure MC knows how much I appreciate them.
He folded the card and placed it into the pocket of his suite. He would not let his brothers discover what his resolution was.
Mammon
"Make more money, obviously," Mammon grumbled as he took the card from MC. When their fingers brushed up against one another, he froze. His cheeks felt warm and he glanced away from them.
He pulled the cap off of marker MC gave them with his mouth and started scribbling down on the card.
Be more honest with my feelings for MC.
He shoved it into his pant's pocket, his eyes watched MC carefully. He took a deep breath, he would try.
Leviathan
He grabbed the card with some excitement. This was something straight out of an anime he watched. Oh, he couldn't decide which anime he was going to make his goal to re-watch, which game he wanted to 100% complete, or what collectables he was wanting to get.
Then, he paused. His glanced up from the card to MC. He carefully took off the cap and started writing down.
Try to be more affectionate with MC.
His face burned hotly at what he had just written. Just the idea was enough to make his heart hammer away. Even if it was something that normies would do, he wanted to try it.
Satan
"Thank you," he spoke when he took the card from MC. He leaned back into his chair as he thought over the different possibilities. He kept glancing towards MC, curious as to what they were going to write down. Honestly, he didn't really know what was running through their head at that moment.
Learn more about MC.
He loved learning, about anything really. So learning about the one who had captured his affections would make learning even more special.
Asmodeus
"Ohhh! MC you'll share with me what you wrote, won't you?" he winked at MC, causing them to laugh lightly with a shake of their head. He hummed as he pondered what he was going to write. Of course, his card would be the most beautiful, not that the others would show him their card.
He twirled a bit of his hair while watching MC carefully. A soft smile on his lips as he admired their kindness towards everyone in the room. Really, his resolution didn't take too much thought.
Make MC feel like the most special person out there.
Beelzebub
Beel took two cards and nudged Belphie awake before handing it to him. He figured that Belphie would write something similar to him - they didn't have a telepathic connection for nothing. Still, this resolution would still be his.
He wanted to be the one to take responsibility for it and not rely on anyone else. He was the one that wanted to make it come true.
Make MC feel safe.
He smiled at what he wrote. It was simple, but he wanted to be the one to protect them.
Belphegor
He did pay some attention to what MC was saying, but started to snooze as they started to pass out the cards. He already knew what he was going to write when MC started to explain it.
When Beel nudged him awake, he quickly scribbled down his resolution and stuffed it inside his pillow for safe keeping.
Make sure MC is never scared of me again.
Diavolo
"This is a wonderful idea, MC. Thank you!" Diavolo took the card from MC. His mind was racing with so many ideas on what he should right down. He had so many goals for Devildom. Some of those goals had started to shift after he met MC.
His amber eyes watched them when they sat down and started to write down. Yes, at first he wanted to keep things strictly professional between him and the exchange students. However, he couldn't deny that MC had captured his heart.
Ensure MC can obtain true happiness.
Barbatos
"Thank you," he spoke softly and took the card from MC. He had been watching them as they passed out the card and his heart sped up when they got to him. He hummed lightly in content thinking to when their fingers touched.
The butler glanced towards his Lord, noting he was busy writing on his own card and wouldn't peer down at his. Barbatos took off the cap and began to write down his goal, unaware how similar it was to his master's.
Spend more time tending to MC's happiness.
Simeon
"How wonderful!" Simeon complimented MC's idea. "I hope your resolution comes true, MC! Please let me know if there's anything I can help with it."
Simeon made sure Luke understood what to do and laughed as the younger angel told him off for treating him like a child. Simeon hummed while quickly writing down his resolution.
Help MC in anyway that they need and always look after them.
Luke
"I know how these work, Simeon! I'm not a child!" Luke protested in his childish voice. MC sighed at the child before going to sit down. Luke hummed, though he wasn't entirely sure what he wanted to write down.
He looked around the room, seeing everyone looking at MC. He narrowed his eyes, he needed to protect MC from all of them! None of them were good enough for his friend and adopted sibling.
Protect MC from all of those demons...And Simeon and Solomon.
Solomon
"It's been a while since I've done this, thank you for reminding me to set new goals, MC." Solomon smiled and felt his heart flutter when MC returned the smile with one of their own.
He removed the marker and carefully wrote down on the card. Once he was finished writing, he cast a spell on the card. It was a good luck charm that would make it more likely to come true. It was his favorite thing in the world, he needed it to come true.

Mammon has lived for millenia and history is nothing if not a testament to his influence. He has corrupted monarchs and men of the church alike-- started wars, toppled kingdoms, inadvertently created new faiths, just so he could run his fingers through the gold of the coffers... but none of that ever taught him patience. Good things come to those who wait? Pfft. Not when you can just take and take and take. But for the first time in thousands of years he can't just take what he wants. Because he can't take your love. He can't take your time or affection or praise... he has to earn them. And suddenly immortality has no value because he's never learned how to do any of that. Mammon is back at square one. He might as well be as young and naive as his human.
Mortal or not, you still manage to teach him what thousands of years of life could not. You don't fall in love with Mammon because of some grand gesture or expensive gift. It's certainly not because he's so eloquent at expressing his own feelings. You fall for Mammon in small and unassuming moments that accumulate silently when you are not even paying attention. It's all the mundane things: lying in your bed side by side with your feet tangled while you send each other stupid memes, singing along with the car radio when you run late night errands for Lucifer, brushing teeth and glancing at each other in the mirror, giving each other knowing looks in class while you ignore the professor... And his patience is rewarded. Because your affection is the interest paid on all these moments of quiet intimacy. Mammon finally realizes he does not need to chase his desires to the point of self destruction. There is virtue in allowing goodness to come to him.

it was a busy day. or well, more busy than usual.
he had so many things to deal with. on top of the usual stuff, he had to fill out a lot of paperwork for diavolo and have it done by a certain time.
he was given a reasonable amount of time to finish, but we all know how he is. workaholic extraordinaire
so when he comes home from RAD after an exhausting day (Mammon got in more trouble, no surprises there. Asmo did something stupid for Devilgram. Satan tried to prank him on school grounds. Beel tried to eat a chair) he pretty much immediately threw himself into his work
you tried to get him to stop, to take the break you both know he needs, but he’s stubborn. he refused, and ultimately it’s his choice. you cant really force anybody to do something
so eventually you leave him be (not without giving him a big cup of his favorite tea) and for your hair appointment with one of your friends from Purgatory Hall.
halfway through his paperwork, he needs to leave the house quickly to drop some things off at RAD, and finds that you’re gone. he’s worried at first, but when he checks his DDD he finds a text from you telling you that you’re safe, just out somewhere with a friend
so while he still worries, he ultimately knows your in good hands and leaves you be.
when he comes home, completely ignoring the kitchen and dinner, he goes to your room to see if you’re back.
you are. the face he makes when he sees you is priceless.
he looks completely stunned, eyes widening and brows shooting up higher than you’ve ever seen at the sight of the bright color. his words die in his throat at your appearance, and you try to stifle the laugh that threatens to come out
the expression doesnt last for more than a second, unfortunately -- he’s quick to compose himself and act as if nothing happened
he’s a little confused why you felt the need to dye your hair. he’s also a little annoyed -- dying your hair can ruin Diavolo and the exchange program’s reputation, make it look bad. not to mention it makes you stand out, which can be extremely dangerous, even if you've been in the Devildom for such a long time
but you aren’t breaking any dress codes. you also have 7 demon rulers under your control, the crowned prince and his butler, two angels and an all-powerful sorcerer to protect yourself. your magical abilities have been improving greatly ever since you’ve started training under Solomon, so you know how to protect yourself, or at least summon he or one of his brothers if something happens.
so he cant stay irritated for long. he’s still confused, but grows to like it. he wont admit it, but he finds it sort of charming. its so... you to go out and do this, and we all know he has a soft spot for you.
Asmodeus
you’d have to hide that you wish to dye your hair from him
not because he’ll be judgmental (he’s the complete opposite, actually) it’s just he tends to get... overzealous about things revolving around beauty, and hair isn’t exempt from that
if you were to tell him, he’d be supportive 100%, but he’d get very excited and start shooting off hair saloon recommendations and dyes and hair styles/cuts that’ll look good with the color, among other things. and having so many connections and knowledge on the subject, it’ll get overwhelming very quickly
in excitement, he might give you recommendations on what hair color(s) would best suit you, and it’ll come off as more of a demand than a suggestion. he means well, he truly does, but we know how he can get. he just gets very passionate and wants to help
so if you simply just want to dye your hair and have your mind set on what you want, going to him may not be the best idea.
so after a day at RAD, you walk home with him. you’re mostly going back to the HoL to change out of your uniform and maybe grab a snack before you have to leave for your appointment
thankfully, Asmo had some work at Majolish that day, which you were well aware of -- he would talk about an upcoming project that he was a part of and was really looking forward to finishing
so after dinner he takes off for work, and after helping clean up the table and dishes you slipped out of the house and made your way to the salon
by the time Asmo comes home, it’s pretty late. while he’s happy he’s working on this project, it can get exhausting, especially when it’s during the week and he has to go to RAD the next day.
so when he comes home, he immediately makes his way to your room, craving you. it isn’t sexual or anything, he just wants to talk with you or even just be in your presence. and if you wanna cuddle or do something more he definitely wouldn’t be opposed!
when he makes it to your room, he sees the light shining from the bottom of the door, along with the bathroom sink running. he knocks on your door to let you know he’s there, before opening it.
you walk out of the bathroom, face a little wet from what he assumes was due to brushing your teeth. you blink at him, simply greeting him, completely ignoring the look of surprise he makes when he notices the bright color your hair is now dyed.
it isnt long before he’s on you, touching it and practically vibrating with excitement. he’s complimenting you left and right, running circles around you to get a good look.
while he’s surprised, its a good kind of surprised. the color suits you, because you can make anything work, he cant wait to pick out nice outfits to match!
