Can i be honest. im a little bit done with being seen as the cute/pathetic friend. i can’t change how other people see me but i would like to be. maybe just a normal person ? i’m incredibly anxious to the point where it’s difficult to get out of the house yes. and i’m fat which makes people see me as “cuddly” yes. but that does not make me pathetic. like i’ve played into it and i’ve been fine with it but i’m tired. i’m an adult now. i want to be seen on everyone else’s level.

there is still kindness in this world and you will find it in people who compliment your outfit in an elevator and in the eyes of the receptionist you know who got promoted when you stop to say hi to them in the hall and in etsy sellers who apologize profusely for postal system even though it’s completely out of their control and in the people who stick by your side through your worst moments and in your crush who knows you like her and doesn’t mind. you will find kindness in people. you will. i promise. just btw.
