I know it's been a while since I've last posted. I've been grinding away looking for jobs and working Uber as much as I can. My cousins all returned to the mitt, so haven't really needed to go out and explore as much (also vegas is ***king expensive, but everyone knew that. I just forgot).

As of today I've driven 4500 miles since I've left Michigan. I've also made 294 deliveries and reached the highest tier as a delivery driver on Uber (Diamond). yay

I also started a regular routine of exercising each morning before work. My mother told me that I should stop working on my shoulders and focus on my legs. My own mother told me my legs were too skinny. oh mom. My goal is to be able to do 10 pullups and be able to run a mile without stopping. My start weight was 210 and this morning I'm at 206. Small steps baby.

Travel Plans: I've changed a few bullet points in my plan and have now decided to save up so I can purchase a used Ford Tranist Connect clean it out and retrofit it into a campervan.

Where am I going to go? Wherever the roads lead me. But I would like to eventually head north into Alaska (Into the Wild? vibes). In the meantime I'm going to continue posting for those of you checking in.

It's officially been 2 weeks since I left home and man that feels like a lifetime ago. I feel like things are starting to fall in place. I've applied to a half dozen gigs in the area and should have something lined up by the end of this week.

I'm mainly posting today because I wanted to tell everyone to go and see everything everywhere all at once.

Just go do it.

And bring tissues.

I have safely made it to Vegas. Woke up at 8 and then hit the road by 9. Didn’t stop for any food so just posting some pictures from the road.

It’s my second day in Denver and there’s so much to share.

Currently this is my view as I type this post:

I’m at the Denver Botanical Gardens! Although the flowers weren’t in bloom it was still great to get som fresh air and walk around taking as much of the wonderful mountain weather as I can.

For a recap of the last 24 hours:

I spent the morning sleeping in after the windy 12 hour drive. The wind kept me up the whole drive making sure the hands were on 10 & 2. Woke up and had some bites of breakfast provided by Amy my airbnb host.

For the afternoon I spent a few hours perusing downtown Denver and the Denver Art Museum. I closed out the day with an iconic show at Red Rocks amphitheater. This is a must for anyone who comes to Denver. Being surrounded by gargantuan rock formations and looking down into the pit is just a sight to see.

I’m now at Kachina Cantina in Denver drinking a blood orange margarita.

Grabbing dinner here before going to the Rockies game with my sister (who I forgot to mention lives in Denver).

Before I go, I just wanted to say this: go hug someone. And not the church youth group friendly can’t be full frontal side hugs, a long bear hug. I don’t get many of those often and I feel like a lot of us forget about the little things. So go hug someone and enjoy the weekend and make some memories!

Hey everyone! I know it’s been a few days since I last updated but don’t worry I’m very much alive and made it to St. Louis.

The place I’m staying at has a broken elevator and my place is on the 8th floor. I know I’ve given up cigarettes or tried to and man was it a struggle. Found out this morning that they keep the elevator powered down after midnight -.-

Started off this morning with the iconic Budweiser factory tour (beer master tour $44). Note to self: maybe eat breakfast before drinking first thing in the morning. Went to a Waffle House to soak up all the surprisingly tasty Budweiser.

Spent the afternoon at the national arch and then the Missouri Botanic(Al?) Garden and finishing off the day with a meal at Salt + Smoke as I write this but today was a relaxing start to this journey.

The drive this morning was a perfect start to the launch of this epic (to me) journey.

Todays the big day. I did my best to make sure work won’t be too crazy while I’m gone and said my final goodbyes. Some tears were shed (happy tears) and prayers prayed. I’m currently in Ann Arbor as I write this and the next time I update I’ll be in a whole new city and a whole hour behind.
