My Twisted Mind

Do I care if I despise this? Nothing else matters, I know. In a veil of great disguises; how do I live with your ghost? Should I tear my eyes out now? Everything I see returns to you somehow. Should I tear my heart out now? Everything I feel returns to you somehow.

We are terrified to ask for help. We refuse to seem weak; to be vulnerable. We ridicule someone who has a problem with their head, yet sympathize with those who have a problem with their heart. Is your brain not also an organ? We falsely indoctrinate each other to think that we should be ashamed to ask for help, but help is what we need. This sadness is in so many of us and we stay so quiet. Depression is hiding in the basement of a burning house.

I’m smoking alot and starting to doubt if I’m breathing you in or smoking you out

… that when you’re buying books, you’re optimistically thinking you’re buying the time to read them.
