Whilst it is technically a possibility, I have not been examined for any neurodiversities such as autism spectrum disorder. As I have a... unique physiology, it is a struggle for medical staff to completely understand what level of psychological testing would most properly and correctly quantify my neurotype.

It is of no offense, seeing as how something such as being asked a genuine query should not cause a strong reaction from oneself. Along with the fact that being asked about one's neurological functions is something that is exceedingly commonplace among Vul- my culture.

In all I would have to come to the conclusion that it is plausible that I am "just like that", however it is almost equally plausible that I do fall somewhere on the autism spectrum.

However, to more directly answer your query: the reasons I am attracted to the captain are numerous.

There are physical reasons: aesthetic qualities such as skin complexion, eye colouring, fat and muscular distribution, etcetera.

Then, there are psychological factors that are indeed more important than physical ones in my– admittedly limited experience.

The experience of a mind reaching out, desiring another so deeply that there is nothing, physical or otherwise, able to separate them once intertwined. This experience is indeed the reason I am "gay for that guy" as you have phrased it.

Unfortunately, "that guy" is psy-null and, as such, does not seem to be aware of the link between us.

Truly, I am unable to procure any logical reasoning as to what an individual would have to dislike about the Captain. Although, as your inquiry is to my specific inclinations, I shall say that one of the traits I admire is his (at times rather irritating and illogical) selflessness. He is someone who will truly care about and sacrifice a great deal for most anyone.
