Safe while shopping... when you leave the store, be aware of your surroundings.

For pity's sake, have a rendezvous point!

Don't allow strangers into your personal space.

Safe in the parking lot... Talking on the phone while driving is a bad idea and illegal in some areas. But if you choose to be on your phone, end your call before entering the parking lot.

Safe on Vacation... plan out your routes before leaving your hotel room. If you do get lost go into a store or restaurant to get your bearings.

Trust your instincts. Don't trust strangers. Stop being too nice.

I can't imagine using oven spray... unless maybe you hit your attacker with the can. Use pepper spray, or a firearm, or some other weapon designed for self defense.

It's Monday... again

Once a criminal targets you, trying to reason with them isn't going to work. Don't waste time talking. Get away if you can. Get ready to defend yourself if you can't.

Learn and practice defensive techniques that use large motor skills.

Use heel-palm strikes if you are going to hit solid bone so you don't break your own bones.
