Predators do NOT care about you. They will become violent to get what they want. Answer their violence with your own. Use whatever it takes to defeat your attacker. Violence is a self defense tool.

Unfortunately, public parks and beaches contain predators. They don't care if they ruin your day out. Be aware. Threat Awareness.

Especially after a 250th Freedom Celebrating weekend!!!

Be careful what you say, not just in a violent encounter, but in your everyday life. If you do get into a violent encounter, especially with a gun, your entire life will be up for grabs if you end up being prosecuted, including social media posts.

This just makes sense. Avoid danger whenever you can. And if you can, fight for your life and incapacitate your attacker.

You need to practice with any defensive weapon you carry. Practice pulling out the pepper spray and finding the button and/or turning on the safety switch, and practice aiming and firing. Most people don't want to spend money on inert sprays so they can practice. But if you rely on pepper spray for self defense, you'll be sorry you didn't practice before having to use it in an actual attack (unless you are extremely lucky.)
