What common or household objects will stop bullets? Spoiler alert: Very few...

I posted this quite a while ago. I followed the advice and adjusted my mirrors and it worked wonders! Saved me several times from hitting a car when I wanted to change lanes. No blind spot is also good for spotting someone approaching your car when you're stopped at an intersection.

Safe on Vacation... Go with a group when you go sight-seeing. It's usually safer. But remain aware of your surroundings.

The best target to choose on your attacker is whichever one you can reach. Then continue striking, stomping, crushing, breaking, dislocating, whatever it takes to render your attacker incapacitated.

Get out of your comfort zone. You are NOT safe in there.

You're not paranoid. You're prepared.

Convice yourself that you can defend yourself. Learn how it you don't know. Your life is worth the effort.

Home Defense... get those locked changed immediately. You have no idea who has keys to your new abode. Keep them out by changing the locks.

Multi-tasking is a MYTH... You cannot effectively focus on two (or more) things at the same time. Pay attention to your surroundings when you are in public. And get off that damn phone.

Self Defense in Restaurants... face the door and sit near a secondary exit. Remember, kitchens almost always have an exit in the back for deliveries and trash cans. Situational/Threat Awareness.

Today, and always, we honor those who stormed the beaches of Normandy. We remember their courage and sacrifice. There are not sufficient words to express how thankful I am and how in awe I am of their bravery, courage and willingness to go into such a battle. God, please forgive me for sometimes taking my freedom for granted. It is a gift from the Almighty and from the Heroes who gave their All for God and Country. God bless them, their families, the United States of America and American Citizens. We are blessed.
