Yâall ever think about how Tommy Wiseau is a walking shitpost?
LMAO?!
am I right
Yep 100% they have different noses
Also, like, Hamillâs face has some charm and warmth to it, while looking at Ĺ˝iĹžekâs face is like staring directly into the abyss.
These new loading gradients are making it incredibly difficult to differentiate between aesthetic posts and the shitty app glitches
literally most things that people write off as just âtexturesâ to use in graphics are stolen & unsourced material created by artists or photographers NOT meant to be used as elements in projects without royalty payments. you can say âitâs just random tumblr posts they donât careâ but you wouldnât want someone to take your work and edit into their work so they can be praised for their beautiful style and creativity even if they just post it on social media w/o profit, would you?? so maybe if you browse pinterest or google images for pictures without finding the original source, youâre using images that youâre not allowed to use without realizing it.
you see it on here a lot especially in (i wonât link anything but iâm sure you know what i mean) those album track âaestheticsâ posts, au âaestheticâ posts (you see these less in kpop, but where people use non-royalty free images to kinda craft a visual au), and even just rather typical graphics that have a lot of âtextureâ elements. and texture packs too!! thatâs often where the problem starts; people just collect images (often literal art), compile them in a folder w/o sources, then insist no one can repost those images w/o crediting the person who compiled them. what???
SO may i suggest some of my fave places you can get FREE, ROYALTY-FREE elements that are totally legal to use
creativemarket has 6 free high-quality resources (textures, brushes, fonts, etc), different every week! wow awesome i check it every week
search âfreebieâ on behance. awesome stuff!!! lots of v nice templates textures and fonts
mockup zone freebies
unsplash: tons of very nice free photographs, not shitty stock photos
pexels: same idea. + they have an adobe plugin so you can get photos without closing your editor damn nice
pixelsquid is a super cool free program (again w a ps plugin that i love) with lottts of super cool hq 3d elements!
as to not make this too long: spoongraphics, lostandtaken (textures galore), pixeden, freebiesbug.
Iâm gonna add a few more:
Morguefile is my favorite free stock photo site
Texturemate is full of excellent free textures, brushes, and patterns.Â
Transparent Textures actually lets you combine colors and patterns to build your own texture right there in the browser.
I do a lot of content writing, so I need CC0 photos a lot. Some of my fav sites are: stocksnap.io, pexels, pixabay, kaboompics, gratisography, burst by shopify, imfree and skitter photo.

FORCED STERILIZATION OF ROMANI WOMEN â A PERSISTING HUMAN RIGHTSÂ VIOLATION
While human rights can be violated by individuals or by institutions, they can only be defended by institutions. The European Court of Human Rights does not deal with single individuals who have committed crimes. Rather, it focuses on why the government in question could not take action against what happened. But where are the doctors, politicians and all the people who personally contributed to or carried out such surgeries, and when they are going to take responsibility for their actions? In order to take action against this human rights violation, blaming the Communist regime is not enough. The practice continues today and forcibly sterilized Romani women are still a long way from receiving true justice.
if you are non Rromani you need to stop what youâre doing and reblog this. Donât ignore it. They are literally treating us like animals. They set our houses on fire. They lynched (literally) a Rromani chavo not too long ago. We are dying. Please donât ignore us.
person: thereâs something i have to tell you my anxiety: *the pink panther theme*Â
I love make-up in theory, cause like, you can bring out the different features of your face, decorate it with different colors and shades and stuff, make light reflect off of it in different ways and like generally customize your avatar in real life. In practice, however, I can't blend to save my life, my lipstick always cracks and bleeds, I can barely pick a foundation that doesn't make me look like a zombie, I can't make my eyebrows look like they belong to a human and my pores look ten times bigger.
The European Court of Human Rights on Thursday ruled the forced sterilization of transgender people violates their human rights.
In 22 European countries, transgender people are required to undergo forced sterilization in order to have their gender identity legally recognized.
Fortunately, thatâs about to change. The European Court of Human Rights ruled this week that forced sterilization laws are a violation of human rights, and that these 22 countries must change their laws.Â
The affected countries are Belgium, Luxembourg, Switzerland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Serbia, Bulgaria, Romania, Greece, Finland, Turkey, Latvia, Lithuania, Russia, Ukraine, Georgia, Armenia and Azerbaijan. A handful of other European countries have also removed their forced sterilization laws in the past few years.
âToday is a victory for trans people and human rights in Europe,â said Transgender Europe Executive Director Julia Ehrt in a press release. âThis decision ends the dark chapter of state-induced sterilization in Europe.â
OutRight Action International Executive Director Jessica Stern also applauded the ruling.
âToday the world moved in the right direction for trans rights everywhere,â she said. âForcing unnecessary medical interventions to access basic human rights like legal recognition of a personâs gender is barbaric.â
The European Court of Human Rights ruling said forced medical examinations or mental health diagnoses for trans people do not violate the European Convention on Human Rights.
âIt is regrettable that cruel and unnecessary medical examinations are seen to be in accordance with the European Convention on Human Rights,â said Transgender Europe Senior Policy Officer Richard KĂśhler. âWe will continue to raise awareness about the human rights abuses in the medical field that trans people are still systematically subjected to.â
This is a really big deal, and about damn time, too.Â
[Article posted April 6, 2017]
This is huge but the struggle for reproductive justice for transgender people isnât over. Transgender peopleâparticularly transgender womenâin Europe and elsewhere are still in need of ready access to assisted fertility clinics/cryopreservation labs. Transgender peopleâparticularly womenâin Europe and elsewhere still face intense social pressure to undergo sterilizing surgery in order to live not just as legally recognized members of our genuine sex but live safely as members of our genuine sex. Also legal documents alone do not necessarily grant access to safe housing, gender-appropriate incarceration, homeless shelters, bathroom access, or any number of other things that often still rely on the transgender personâparticularly transgender womenâundergoing permanently sterilizing surgery.
Legally mandated sterilization as a condition to change legal documents is also still enforced in many places in the United States and other non-European countries.
<3 An important step but yes, there is still MUCH more to be done <3

This is whatâs going on in Serbia right now
On 2nd of April Serbia had presidential elections in which Serbian prime minister to that date, Aleksandar VuÄiÄ, became the president of Serbia with 55% of all votes and 12% more votes than all the opposition combined. The turnout was 54.5%.Â
Months prior to that heâs been launching a bombastic campaign and dominated all media, even buying main pages for the newspaper for an entire day (30.3.) and he absolutely dominated YouTube advertisements for people who are from Serbia:
Itâs 3.4. and Serbian youth are unhappy with the results of the presidential elections. Serbia is protesting. Hundreds of people are flooding the streets of Belgrade, Novi Sad and NiĹĄ, and the number keeps growing:
The numbers in Belgrade already rose to thousands, and the protests are expected to continue tomorrow. Slogan of the protest is âNo to the dictatorship!â. Itâs predominantly a student protest. The students do not hope to impeach Aleksandar or anything alike, but they hope to raise awareness of the rising authoritarianism in Serbia and motivate citizens to take part in the next elections and stand in VuÄiÄâs way.
Update.
All major cities in Serbia got involved in the protests. Protesters came out with requirements that need to be met in order for protests to halt which include:
1. Disbanding members of Republicâs electoral commission for dismissing decisions of the Constitutional court 2. Replacing members of Regulatory body for electronic media for not reacting on hundreds of reports and breaches 3. Disbanding the president of the parliament Maja GojkoviÄ for blocking the functioning of the parliament during the presidential campaign 4. Replacing the chief editor of the informational program of RTS (Radio television of Serbia) because of pro-government reporting and unequal treatment of the candidates in the campaign 5. Revision of the electoral list (as it involves dead people, peopleâs place of residence listed on the wrong addressesâŚ)
Police and military were also invited to join the protests.
President Aleksandar VuÄiÄ and Russian Federation reacted to the protests. Reaction from Western politicial powers is absent.
It is claimed that Serbian protesters got financing by the USA in order to destabilize the country and cause a war. VuÄiÄ defended the right of protesters to protest, suggesting that if they have time to waste he doesnât. Russian authorities reported that Serbia should not be destabilized and legitimacy of the elections downplayed.
It's not just the media campaign, although he does have all the mainstream media in his pocket. He also has complete control of the authority that's supposed to regulate electronic media AND the national election committee. The media has been incredibly biased in their coverage of the election. There have also been many accounts of bribery and blackmail. People were threatened with losing their jobs if they and their families don't vote for VuÄiÄ. People are questioning the legitimacy of the election results because of the climate the election campaign was carried out in. People are mad because the media keeps spewing bs about how everything is getting better, while people are literally killing themselves due to low wages and horrible working conditions.
Thereâs a movie coming out where the plot is a bunch of women on a night out (Scarlett Johansson, Kate McKinnon, Zoe Kravitz, Ilana Glazer) accidentally kill a male stripper andâŚ.sigh.
Instead of seeing Rough Night where the joke is literally the murder of sex workers, see Girlâs Trip instead where four beautiful black women (Regina Hall, Jada Pinkett Smith, Queen Latifah and Tiffany Haddish) get wild without having to kill someone!
I am here for ladies having fun without murdering people
That's not the only reason it's shitty. The guy dies because the only fat character jumps on him, that's the punchline.
