I pray to Allah to guide me so I can be the wife that you deserve, that respects and honours you, and that is always pleasing to your eyes. I pray for Allah to always protect this sacred and beautiful love that we have, and to grant us wisdom and strength to go through whatever challenges that we will face in the future.

I could still remember the words that you whispered to me on one of the nights, which made me tear. You said, “I want you to go to Jannah, ok?” How beautiful was that. But my love, “Let’s hold hands and run towards Jannah together, shall we?”

The older I get, the more I realised that we are our own architect for our joy. We have to have a deep sense of self-worthiness as a solid foundation, hard work as our strong pillars, and then lay bricks after bricks of gratitude and kindness so that we can build a home for ourselves. Because here's the truth guys: no one is gonna come and assemble and make one for you."
