When your significant other hasn’t spoken to you in a day and some hours with no explanation

I've cried so much over my early 20s, my body just refuses to let the tear ducts do their job, maybe... or I'm just numb to the feeling at the end of the day.

For 1 year...

I had been talking with this person on IG. We were really into each other and everything was just perfect minus the fact that they were in the US and I was in Africa, so very very long distance.

Something didnt add up one day and I thought, let me run a little background check here. I found out, after 1 year of texting and calls and all the "I love yous", they were still in school, had no jobs, lived with their parents and were in fact *17 years old*.

I was so broken because I didn't even know how to think or how to react. I told them I had found out and they blocked me.

Tbh I thought it wasnt going to be such a big deal, I just had to find middle ground with them and everything would be fine.

However, I'm starting to realize that the thought was easier in my head than real life. The age gap is pretty obvious in our communication and it's starting to look like, this may not really work out....
