I think a really cool way to reimagine Slappy’s character would be to have him start out as second in command to a different villain (like the sorcerer that created him) and just have him be that guy’s mistreated sidekick and then eventually he crashes out and takes that guy’s place as the main villain actually earning the title and giving himself a reason to be feared. “I’m pulling the strings from now on” do we see it???
