Out there in the ether you are because the grief you were forced to hold inside you for so many years too long, you are gone. One of my favorite contemporary authors, authors of all time, ever. Your work influences me, speaks for me, and is parallel to the displacement you felt and to which you created works of art that live on in your memory.

You describe national exile and the passion of resistance that wears and weighs down one soul to another, and for one reader whose queerness is exiled from the stretch of miles in radii of the land they only knew, destroyed by the sins of omission, extraction, and torture to all with a heart to give a damn.

Our paths crossed with our eyes and hands to the pages of your story, bound by paper and bound by grief, a grief so enamored by live for something better for humanity against the waves of injustice caused by the few who enlist the many to die at the behest of no one's support.
