/ songbird

So we’re having a little coloring contest for Halloween at the rec center where I work. We’re each coloring one so we can maybe encourage the kids to color their own and participate. 

𝐈𝐓𝐒  𝐀  𝐋𝐈𝐓𝐓𝐋𝐄  𝐀𝐖𝐊𝐖𝐀𝐑𝐃  𝐓𝐇𝐈𝐒  𝐈𝐒.  the  last  thing  luca  could  have  excepted  that  morning  was  a  telephone  call   from  america  about  chad  warwick  of  all  people.  𝐃𝐈𝐎 𝐌𝐈𝐎 !  it  had  been  many  a  years  since  he  had  seen  that  face.  the  nature  of  the  call  had  the  italian  dancer  rushing  from  paris  on  the  first  flight  he  could  get  to  new  york.

𝐈𝐓  𝐖𝐀𝐒  𝐎𝐕𝐄𝐑𝐖𝐇𝐄𝐋𝐌𝐈𝐍𝐆  𝐓𝐎  𝐒𝐄𝐄  𝐇𝐈𝐌  𝐀𝐆𝐀𝐈𝐍.  luca  almost  forgets  that  he  is  engaged  to  another  man.  it  is  both  a  blessing  &  a  curse  to  be  in  this  position.  he  has  no  intentions  to  steal  anyone  away  but,  helping  chad  ?  he  will  do  absolutely  anything.   the  only  person  luca  would  ever  drop  his  entire  life  for.  not  that  he  had  𝐀 𝐋𝐎𝐓  𝐆𝐎𝐈𝐍𝐆  𝐎𝐍  𝐑𝐈𝐆𝐇𝐓  𝐍𝐎𝐖

❛  can  we  talk signore  blaine  ?   ❜   he  taps  the  younger  man  on  the  shoulder,  after  he  is  finally  able  to  pry  himself  away  from  chad.  ❛   i  would   like  for  there  to  be  peace.    ❜

          although calm on the outside,  blaine anderson is internally a knot of agony.  his gut feels hollow, like it’s caved in, probably from taking so many metaphorical hits to it. his chest  aches  and he knows the tension wired through his frame doesn’t help. if rachel was here she would try to help him relax cause this physical strain isn’t good for the vocal chords  ......  not that his vocal health is  ranking  among his top concerns right now.  -------  but he does wish she was here. god if ever he needed her softly fierce friendship, it’s  now. 

glassy amber-hazel eyes remain fixed on his fiancé as luca moves away. honestly he  tries  to ignore the older male’s presence cause he’s brought so much distress with him  ....  but he can  f e e l  him near  --  uncomfortable tingles of awareness that a very real  threat  to his relationship and the life they’ve built is nearby.
