“I was bored. I’ve been to three continents in the past month.” Riffling through the bag slung over his shoulder, he pulled out a bottle. “I brought you a present. It’s wine from South America. It’s amazing.”

“Given that I don’t know you and you aren’t the mind behind Salazar, you most definitely don’t deserve the spotlight,” Ignasi shot back as he eyed the man. “Is there something I can do to help you?”

“Bonjour, mon petit oiseau. Been well?”

“Well, it’s not usually my thing to interfere, but I decided to make an exception.”

“The prodigal son returns from travelling. How have you been?”

“I hate doing photoshoots. I’m not a model. It doesn’t make sense to photograph me.”

Llorenc took the phone from her and put it in his pocket. Looking around, he walked over to where his kitten was lying around and then walked back to her. “This is my kitten, Senor Gato. He’s better than a cute video. And Spettro is somewhere around here.”

Something about her words rubbed him the wrong way and offended his designer sensibilities more than he would care to admit. Even to see her so comfortable in her underwear was pleasing, but not good enough. He walked over to her and stood in front of her. Running his finger down and her neck and along her shoulder, he shook his head. “That’s not good enough. I want to look at you in one of my designs and feel the same way about you then as I do right now,” he explained as his finger continued on its path down her arm. And there was little doubt as to how he was feeling about her given the look in his eyes and how his attention never quite drifted away from her body. “The entire world needs to want you as badly as I do.”
