I get why that he did this because he wanted to keep him and his family safe. He loved Jo so much he had to keep him away. He was scared he will taint him with blood after that night what happened with Jaime…. I just wish he had than this sooner, he didnt had to make a promise and then broke him apart like this. I know Ian deserves to be happy after all he’s been through and I know it’s been conflicting, oscillating between wanting to live in that peaceful life with Jo and the struggle to completely abandon TJ. although he was also ready to take on a job he knew that would hurt TJ for Jo’s sake… But goatdamn I just cant with this break up. I got messed up crying for this scene.

Everyone gathered in the town center were speechless, excited and curious as an unknown visitor descended from the sky. The visitor had a brown tattered cape with little diamonds on the back. They lay on the concrete motionless for a moment, and as they opened their eyes they were rattled. They were surrounded by colorful people. People in bright ribbons and gleaming expressions. The visitor glowed for a second, creating this bright halo around them like a bubble force shield and each glow they made an unfamiliar sound the town has ever heard, a likeness of a distress call. They staggered to get up properly, stepped back and flew up the air unsteadily, jerking left and right, and up to the horizon with their rapid frenzy call.
