And for him a new refrain: I am the guard who opened the gates and let the foe march through. He would have given much and more to know that he was doing the right thing. But he had gone too far to turn back.

I’m sure in another 20 or 30 years’ time there will be a new phenomenon. And I will be at some point be saying dismissively to my children, ‘Huh, Harry Potter was bigger than this… This is nothing compared to Harry Potter… You think that’s fans? That’s not fans!
