i don't give a shit about what's going on in the middle east but beneath the ocean of dumb opinions i don't doubt for a moment that people genuinely care about the events that are happening. people want to help the real people living over there and they are taking actions that they believe will have a real positive effect on the world. so eager are people to help, in fact, that they will buy into extremely obvious scams. but i digress.

the response to the assassination of the healthcare ceo is infinitely dumber because it is nothing more than fetishization of political violence. none of you think killing rich people is the path to positive change. or if you do, you don't give enough of a shit to try doing it yourself. hell, if you had a loaded gun in your hands pointed directly at jeff bezos, none of you would even pull the trigger.

you haven't "eaten the rich". you sat on your asses for years waiting for someone else to do something, and now you're all creaming your pants because someone you didn't know existed killed someone else you didn't know existed, and this is apparently some great victory. and once this blows over you're all going to go back to doing nothing until someone else decides to do something, and nothing will have changed.
