Loneliness is like the thread bare blanket no one wants to use but always end up wrapped up in anyhow. It wraps around you snug and has the illusion of warmth because its familiar but you still can feel the chill in your very bones..it seeps into your heart and despite the fact that you know you should try to push it off of you and seek actual warmth in the people you love you seem to snuggle into it deeper because its always been there. You know its scent and the feel of it against your skin and like the old toxic friend it is you will cling to it because you forgot how to look for another blanket..
