I’d love to say I didn’t spend an entire weekend making tiny manga books rather than do the many chores and errands I need to, buuuuut……..

I decided to try stamp carving last week. This little triforce is my third one so far and my first with inner carving. I still need to do some clean up to the lines but I kinda like it so far!
GUESS WHO IS MAKING NOTEBOOKS.
Fuecoco! I haven't done surface pattern design in a loooooong time, so I'll probably move things around to look a little nicer later, but it was nice practice! And I love this little baby so much.
A quick screenshot of my current reguri WIP. This little guy was made entirely with eyeballing and the pen tool because it's 2022 and I still can't draw. 😂

Dress up! ❤️
Quick Reguri beans, because why not? AKA I needed to make a base for this style for a project, and things just spiralled out of control from there.
Some question from a newbie for the seasoned 3D sculptor/modelers:
When trying to learn scultping or box modeling, do you think it's more helpful (or was it more helpful for you as a beginner) to do the same project multiple times to retry the things you had trouble with the first time? Or to just move on and keep trying new things?
Did you learn box modeling or sculpting first? Do you think one is better than the other for starting out? Especially for people who want to progress to character modeling.
Trying to learn anatomy in ZBrush makes me realize I have no idea how muscles work. 😂
Also, pretty sure the head is too small, but this was a rough practice piece to work on learning the torso so I'll do better next time.
Made in ZBrushCoreMini because I am broke AF and don't understand Blender's UI. 🤷♀️
