Everyone has these made up rules for themselves that are just regurgitations of whatever their parents told them or theyve seen on social media and that have zero actual substance/backing for why they exist or what makes them worth following. And they just dont defy them until someone points out that its ok to. Its fine and actually good to be a bit pretentious. Everyone is perverted in their own way. Go to the movies alone. Be an contrarian just for the sake of it. You can like both blockbuster action films and emotionally-driven indie ones. You dont need to explain your gender to anyone. Stop defining yourself by what you see.
