The first PRIDE was a RIOT
While I personally have lots to celebrate this pride month, I can’t ignore the state of the country I live in or the world
Our rights are under attack, they want us silenced and they want us gone
But as always, we will never let hate win
The smallest and sometimes bravest act of rebellion can be to stay true to who you are no matter the struggles that come your way
At the end of the day, you are the only one who can truly ever know who you are, don’t let anyone take that from you

The Trevor Project is an international crisis hotline whose goal is to provide a safe and discreet way for LGBTQ+ individuals in need of crisis intervention to access that service in an affirming manner. For LGBTQ+ individuals the idea of contacting a traditional crisis intervention line can feel scary out of fear of not being accepted, with The Trevor Project you are safe. (The website offers a feature where if you triple tap the screen at any time it will close the page, this does not work on the safari browser on your iPhone, if you are an iPhone user please download Google and use that instead if you feel you may need this feature, it works there.)
The Digital Transgender Archive is an online archive of transgender history. Their goal is to make trans history more accessible by archiving the international information collected online and free to the public. This feels important for me to highlight this year as trans rights are under attack now more than ever and I want any trans person who might come across this to see this and know that you are valid, you are not forgotten, and as we all know YOU HAVE ALWAYS BEEN HERE.
ILGA World or The International Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Trans, and Intersex Association is an international group that aims to work towards and fight for better treatment and laws for the LGBTQ+ community, they consist of 1919 organizations in 169 countries. Their website has resources and information, and if you are in a position where it is financially feasible and safe to do they also accept donations.
Stay safe, stay defiant, stay PROUD
