HOMICIDAL LIU.

Liu doesn't really think about your selective mutism. You'll talk to him whenever you're comfortable, and if that's never then that's fine with him. All he cares about is your comfort.

Besides, if you ask him, he does enough talking for the both of you. At least... he thinks he talks a lot. It definitely feels like it. And who knows, he probably just teaches you morse code so you two can communicate like that.

And little did either of you know, today was the day you'd speak to him for the first time. And not for good reason, sadly. You see, Liu... isn't necessarily a careful person when it comes to his own safety.

So he may or may not have gotten hurt. But it's not like it's a life-threatening injury or anything like that! Besides, he's taught himself how to treat minor wounds like this. Really, it isn't that big of a deal.

You think otherwise, because, uh, he was fucking stabbed. Who the hell considers a stab wound a 'minor' injury?!

So when you saw him cleaning and stitching up a stab wound, this obviously led to some bickering between the two of you. Liu is telling you that he's okay, while you're aggressively telling him via morse code that he's been stabbed and that he needs to get professional medical attention. But Liu was fine. He's gone through way worse than this, so you really don't have to worry.

But him saying that just leads to you throwing up your hands in frustration as you say, "Dammit, kan du ikke se, at jeg er bekymret, fordi jeg elsker dig?!"

And... well... Liu doesn't really know what you just said but he feels really bad knowing that this is what made you speak to him for the first time.

He'll sigh and apologize for not taking his injuries seriously, and he promises to get professional help rather than just treating it himself. He... is legally classified as dead, so he can't go to a hospital but... I mean... he knows a guy who was studying medicine. And a very suspicious doctor.

THE DOLL MAKER.

Vine's native tongue is Russian, so more often than not he'll mutter to himself in his mother tongue rather than any other language.

He doesn't really care if you speak or not, mostly because he feels more comfortable in the silence. He's not the best at holding conversations.

He was busy making a doll with non-human parts this time around. And you were roaming around his little workshop, inspecting all his half-finished projects and sketches of future dolls he planned on making.

Vine trusts you to be around his work, so he's not worried about you accidentally making a mess or breaking anything but he does find himself feeling a little nervous.

Dollmaking is his passion, it's something he loves doing. And he loves you as well and values your opinion more than anyone else's. What if you think he's not doing a good job? What if you think he could make something better?

You've never given him the impression that you dislike dolls or find his creations and passion to be 'childish' but it's still a thought that lingers in his mind nonetheless. Thoughts like this constantly plague his mind.

But when he glances away from the doll he's working on to see you gently straightening out the dress of another one that's on display, a small smile gracing your lips as you admire his creation...

"Я тебя люблю." The words just sorta slipped out of his mouth, and it took him a moment before he went to repeat what he said in English but you spoke before he could even open his mouth.

"Я тебя тоже люблю." And oh. That's the first time he's ever heard you speak, he thinks.

NURSE ANN.

She too is selectively mute, though she doesn't speak because it physically hurts to more often than not, and also... she sees no real reason to talk, to be honest.

You two probably communicate via sign language or writing, though she'll quietly whisper to you if she has to.

Ann doesn't care if you talk or not. She gets it, even if you two have vastly different reasons for your selective mutism.

She's not going to have that big a reaction when you do talk, though she will tilt her head to the side a bit when you speak in an entirely different language.

It'll probably happen while the two of you are spending time together in silence, Ann doing her own thing while you're sitting nearby.

She was caught up in her own little task, mind empty. She was vaguely aware of your gaze on her, but she only really came back to reality when she heard you sigh and softly murmur to yourself.

"Ich liebe dich."

She blinks, taking a moment to process your words. She... doesn't understand German, but the way you softly spoke the words, and the way you were looking at her with such fondness... well, she had a vague idea of what you said.

And very quietly, she whispers back, "Love you too."

CLOCKWORK.

Natalie seems like the type of person who wants to learn a new language, and even begins starting to, but her motivation for it just evaporates two days after starting and she stops trying to learn. And it's just a cycle that rinses, washes, and repeats itself.

Anyways, she overthinks a lot and needs constant reassurance more than she would like, so at the beginning of your relationship, communication was probably a little rocky.

But you guys manage to come up with other ways to communicate rather than vocally.

She'll catch herself wondering what your voice sounds like, and she'll sometimes wonder if you'll ever feel comfortable enough around her to speak but she doesn't push you to talk.

She understands, trust me.

But she's definitely surprised when you wake her up from her nap just to look her in the eye and bluntly say, "Anh yêu em." and you don't even give her a chance to process it before you walk away.

She's just baffled and confused. What the hell did you just say to her? You just spoke. What the hell did you say? Is she dreaming? She feels awake. She's definitely awake.

Natalie has to dig around for her phone to try and search for the translation of what you said, and it takes her a few tries before she finally manages to type it out correctly. She definitely buries her face in a pillow when she reads the translation. And she ends up falling back asleep.

Okay, let's first start off with my interpretation of Nurse Ann

I see Ann rather quiet and reserved, and pretty observant (with her surroundings and with people around her)

She keeps to herself most of the time and has trust issues (I mean, after what she went through, who wouldn't?), and only really trusts Jane, Dr. Smiley, E.J, Hobo Heart, and Liu

It did take some time for to warm up to the four guys since she didn't really like men ever since she came back to life

When she does speak, usually to scold E.J or Dr. Smiley for whatever reasons, her voice is a bit raspy

Jeff has a habit of making fun of her voice, which is pretty hypocritical of him since he sounds like he smokes several packs a day

He always regrets making fun of her after getting his ass kicked and getting chased around the forest by an angry undead nurse with a chainsaw

Doesn't stop him from doing it again, though

Since Ann is like Frankenstein's creature, being made out of different body parts and other people's skin, her limbs sometimes come loose or just full on come off

Everytime this happens, which isn't often, but isn't rare, she has to carefully sew her body back together and make not one mistake

Sometimes Liu has to get involved because he's pretty good with sewing

Ann takes really good care of her chainsaw

She cleans it from blood everytime she uses it and keeps it enclosed in a case when she's not using it to keep it safe

If anyone dares to touch the glass, Ann might have kneecaps to breaks and hands to cut off

When Ann's killing, she's usually quick with the death and saves the body for E.J so he can save the body's organs

Though there are times when, depending on the person, she's extremely brutal with them and gives them a slow and painful death

Most of her victims are men, but that doesn't mean women are safe from her rage

Whenever any of the Creeps who reside in the forest gets hurt or sick, Ann is usually where they go to so they can get fixed up

Though it is pretty hard to convince her to patch them up, especially if she hates that person *cough* Jeff *cough*

Giving her new sewing supplies to sew herself back together usually works, but not all the time

And this is mostly an idea, but I really like the thought of her wearing a vintage nurses outfit

Like from the 40s-60s

It would still be black and red like her canonical outfit she's always seen in

I also like the idea of her keeping her hair up when killing

Alright, now onto the X reader headcanons

Because Ann has trust issues, she's not close to a lot of people, and has never once dated after being brought back from the dead

But you must have done something, other than being a woman, to gain a lot of her trust if the two of you are dating

Maybe you're a human who somehow weaseled yourself into her heart by somehow surviving the forest, and somehow didn't die from her chainsaw

If that's the case, Ann protects you greatly from the dangers of the forest

She makes sure to let everyone know that if they hurt you in any way shape or form, she can and will kill them

Ann berates Smiley, E.J and Jeff the most and threatens to chop them into bits if they do anything stupid around you

She doesn't trust E.J or Dr. Smiley around you alone, because doesn't trust them to not try and eat your kidneys, and do some weird and messed up experiments on you

E.J isn't to scared since he's literally some sort of weird demon creature who could probably kill Ann, but he is just a tad bit scared if her

Ann probably makes some sort of deal with the Slender Man and his workers to make sure he doesn't get you

The Slender Man prefers kids for meals, but there's still a chance of him wanting you dead and sendng his proxies out to kill you

If you're some sort of other non-human or other-worldy creature, she'll be less protective of you, but that doesn't matter

She'll treat you practically the same as if you were a human, but less worried

Ann isn't a very touchy or words person, but wants to let you know she loves you

She gives little notes and affirmations of kindness and love to you, and probably gifts you wildflowers

You might get a small and quick hug or headpat when she feels more comfortable around you

Or even better, a small kiss

She will hold your hand the most though

If you love her back, you should probably give her compliments and let her know she's beautiful inside and out

Ever since dying, Ann hasn't really felt all that pretty anymore since she's know literally made out of other people's skin and limbs

Telling her she's pretty will boost her confidence

And she'll give you compliments back

The two of you, for fun, will, most likely than not, make flower crowns and sew different articles of clothing for eachother

You'll also read in silence together when nothing is happening

If you get sick or hurt in anyway, she's there for you to make sure you get better

CLOCKWORK

Chances are, Natalie will recoil from your touch. Physical affection is something she shies away from, something she absolutely cannot stand unless she herself is initiating it. You've seen first hand how she reacts when someone touches her without her consent, the way she freaks out and ends up breaking everything in sight.

The way she bursts into tears after the anger fades, instead finding it hard to breathe as you try to coax her through a panic attack without making things worse. She doesn't mind the fact that you're clingy, she just doesn't want you touching her unless she tells you to. And it's very rare that she wants you to touch her.

And on the rare occasions that she does find herself craving your touch, she won't outright say it. It's something she struggles to admit to. Instead, she always finds herself being as close to you as she can until you end up accidentally brushing your hand against hers. And when you pull away, muttering an apology, she's quick to snatch your hand back, holding it tightly in her own.

NURSE ANN

She won't even realize you're trying to be affectionate. Truth be told, Ann is oblivious when it comes to these sorts of things. Unless you communicate things to her, she won't take notice. It's something she's trying to work on, especially when it comes to you, but she still needs you to be direct with your wants.

If she sees you reaching to grab her hand only to stop yourself, she'll just assume that you changed your mind about wanting to touch her and won't even comment on it. She hardly ever initiates any form of affection if it's physical, so it's up to you to supply.

But once you explain that you want to touch her, you just don't want to come off as clingy or annoying, Ann will do her best to reassure you that you could never annoy her. You are one of the very, very few people she enjoys being around. She loves you. If you want to hold her hand or cuddle her then don't hesitate. She won't push you away.

KAGEKAO

He will tease you mercilessly. Kagekao is a bastard, honestly, so whenever you try showing him an ounce of affection, he'll have this smug grin and he'll make a teasing comment about how you just can't get enough of him. He never pushes you away though, not unless he's in a bad mood. Which is rare when you're around.

Kagekao does have a habit to take his teasing too far though, and it probably contributes to you hesitating to show him affection, thinking that his playful eyeroll or exasperated sigh was his genuine reaction to your clingy behavior. It might take him a while to realize that you didn't think he was teasing.

The only way he'll dial back on the teasing is if you actually start to withdraw your affection from him. The moment you start shying away from him, he's dropping his playful remarks and is pulling you to him, his grip so tight that it was borderline painful. Don't be stupid, he'll murmur against your skin, I'm always craving your touch.

LAUGHING JACK

He's somehow clingier than you. You suppose you can't be surprised, given this man's abandonment issues were larger than the damn ocean at this point. It's not something he wants to acknowledge, and he'll probably get angry if you even point it out to him. But just know that whenever you two are together, one of his hands is on you at all times.

Honestly, he expects you to be as clingy as him. Because if you are, then it reassures him that you won't try leaving him, and that you want him just as much as he wants you. It's a bit suffocating, but it did make you feel better about your own clinginess. He makes it hard for you to hesitate to touch him when he's always got a hand on you.

You've heard from Nina how this question is supposed to expose wether your girlfriend actually loves you unconditionally or not and you decided to test it. Of course you took it with a grain of salt because this is Nina we're talking about.

You choose to ask her after you guys finished a mission together, it was the perfect moment honestly. She was "cleaning" her fingers of the remaining blood when you asked her the big question.

" So um, Jill would you still love me if I was a worm? "

Jill paused what she was doing and just stared at you for a moment. After a while she poped her finger out of her mouth and smiled.

" You'd be such a cute snack love. "

" Jill I'd be a worm. "

" I meant what I said. "

" Jill- "

You didn't take the question seriously yourself but you were very curious to see how she'd answer. You weren't disappointed.

You two were casually chilling in your room when you asked her.

" Hey do you think you'd still love me even if I was a worm? "

Surprisingly she didn't even think about it, like she was waiting for you to ask her that question.

" Can't we be worms together? Think about how cool it would be! We'd have our own house in the dirt and then- "

She kept talking to you about your worm life for the next 30 minutes.

You honestly shouldn't have expected much from clocky. This woman has zero patience and the emotional intelligence of a dried cactus.

" You'd still love me if I was a worm right? "

At first she thought it was some kind of inside joke she missed out on but when she realised you were asking seriously she gave you a very serious answer.

" Fuck no. Why would I love a worm? How would that even work. "

Your first reaction was to cry but then her very serious answer to such a silly question just made you burst out laughing.

At least no one got upset. Clocky is always upset so that doesn't count.

You were feeling insecure lately but didn't want to actually face it so instead you opted to ask your girlfriend this question hoping for a little encouragement and praise, even if she gave it to you unknowingly.

" Would you still love me if I was a worm Jane? "

Jane was currently in the middle of gutting someone so probably not the best moment to ask, oops.

" Ah, of course I would. I don't think it's right to keep such creatures from their habitats but I would visit your favourite spot in the mansion's garden every day. "

She knew, she always did. Even if you didn't tell her about your insecurities. You both smiled at eachother before a gurgled scream brought you back to the present. Right, back to killing then.

• Nurse Ann •

You and some other pastas were playing truth or dare when Ben, that little shit, dared you to ask your girlfriend that question. He knows as much as you do that Ann hates meaningless questions but of course mom didn't raise a bitch.

When you entered the infirmary, you noticed Ann was working on something. As if this wasn't bad enough already, she hates destructions during work. You took one deep breath and-

" Would you still love me if I was a worm? "

You saw her eyebrows twitch and for a second you thought you were as good as dead. She clenched and unclenched her hands... Yep you were dying today.

And she continued working like normal. After that you started turning around thinking that she wouldn't answer when you heard a soft and raspy voice behind you.

" Yes. "

Nina the killer

Nina Hopkins could have had a normal adolescence if she hadn't developed an unhealthy obsession with the infamous "Jeff the Killer." Partly because her little brother was constantly being beaten up by his classmates, she wanted to defend him by imitating her murderous idol. This triggered a desire to kill children and led her to change her appearance to resemble Jeff. As a result, she lost both her brother and her mother. But it didn't matter, because it led her to discover who she was truly meant to be!

Nina is 1.67 meters tall, has a slightly slender but shapely figure, and enjoys dyeing her hair as it helps relieve stress. She always chooses pink because it's her favorite color, along with fuchsia. She's a huge Hello Kitty fan! Her razor has a Hello Kitty sticker on it, and she loves wearing striped tights. Nina bases her style on the "scene subculture," which suits her well because of the hairstyles and bright colors. She identifies as bisexual with some demisexual tendencies, has never had a partner, and is afraid of being cheated on or not being truly loved.

Jane The Killer

Jane has had a very turbulent life. Jeff ruined her life and her face. She suffered from eating disorders for a long time because she didn't like what she saw in the mirror. Eventually, she accepted it, but she rarely takes off her mask and wig. She hates men; Jeff gives her nightmares every day. She lives by stealing and murdering people who deserve it. She still spends weeks trying to hunt Jeff down, but he avoids her like the plague. Jane met Nina, but she doesn't like her because she's a fan of her enemy.

She's 1.72 meters tall, has a curvy figure, and her skin is sunburnt. She owns several wigs and likes to keep her nails long. She no longer wears colorful clothes like she used to; her wardrobe is now filled with black and white. She struggles to move on with her life. There are nights when she drinks and hooks up with a random girl she met at a bar, but she doesn't want to get attached because trust is no longer part of her nature. She has a very distinctive, elegant gothic style evident in everything she wears. She enjoys solitude and poetry, and often finds solace in baking desserts, especially her mother's favorites.

Clockwork (Natalie Ouellete)

Like Jane, Natalie isn't very fond of men, and her reasons are quite clear: her father abused her, her older brother sexually abused her, and her boyfriend cheated on her and broke up with her. After killing her entire family and burning down her house, which never felt like a home, she took to living in a cabin. She has a clock in one eye, which she sometimes replaces with a glass eye. She's become very good at hunting, and when she feels lonely, she often brings prostitutes, or any girl, over. She wants affection and appreciation in some way.

She bathes every three days, not because she dislikes it, but because she forgets. She's 1.75 meters tall, has dark brown, always messy hair, and a build similar to "Vi de Arcane" because she started training and exercising a lot. She wants to feel strong and forget her weak past self. She likes coats and baggy pants, isn't a big fan of makeup, she never learned how to use it. She has two huskies, a male named Coda and a female named Venus, and she hopes they'll have puppies someday. Her favorite color is green because that's the color of her one remaining eye.

Nurse Ann

Like Eyeless Jack, she is mute, not by choice, but because she lost her vocal cords. She no longer knows the purpose of her life; she doesn't like being a monster made from human remains. She lives in an abandoned hospital with her chainsaw, and sometimes commits acts of cannibalism, rarely, but only after killing someone who dared to set foot in her home. She can see perfectly in the dark, and her hearing is also excellent; she can even hear a person's heartbeat effortlessly.

She's 1.83 meters tall, a redhead, with a voluptuous but scarred body and grayish skin. Her eyes are black except for the pupils, which are red. Besides being terrifyingly beautiful, she has the grip of a wall and can throw a body against a distant wall. She wears black high heels, matching her medical uniform and cap. She doesn't bathe, so she has a strange odor. She's practically immortal; her head can be cut off, and she'll replace it. She often uses "patients" to inject strange substances into them. She hates how she looks, missing an eye, and smelling like garbage every day as she roams the old, filthy clinic with her chainsaw.

Judge Angels (Dina clark)

Her biggest mistake in life was being born with eyes blacker than night. She was never accepted, especially by her father. She decides to dedicate her life entirely to faith, believing it to be the only path for her. In this way, she can punish sinners with her beloved sword. She lives in her original home, but alone, often wandering through churches, enjoying the feeling of God's presence. She doesn't talk much to anyone, often using her bangs to hide her eyes in public. Her favorite food is mashed potatoes with fish and vegetables, because her mother prepared it for her every Wednesday without fail.

She is 1.68 meters tall, takes great care of her blonde hair, and has a very delicate figure, the kind you see in models or paintings. Her bust is small compared to her hips. On her left leg, she has a scar inflicted by her father that left a somewhat visible mark, which she often covers with a bandage bearing a cross in the middle. Her favorite color is white, the color of purity, and almost all her clothes are white. She loves hair accessories, especially small bows. She enjoys drinking lemonade while reading the Bible in the afternoons, and she often does crafts to feel better. She likes birds, but not as pets because they lack freedom.

Zero

Well, one of the worst beings you could ever encounter, Zero didn't originally exist until he stole the body of his friend, who had initially created him as her imaginary companion. He enjoys making others suffer, possessing the same sensitivity as Laughing Jack and Jeff the Killer—which is to say, none. He revels in torture and sadomasochism to a high degree. He doesn't have partners or flings, but he has a weakness for muscular women. Clockwork, you're looking at me. He doesn't need to eat or drink to survive, but when he does, it's for pleasure. He likes to drink beer while eating pizza stolen from some restaurant. He doesn't enjoy sweets much; they taste like vomit to him.

She's 1.79 meters tall, has white hair and skin, and large black circles around her eyes like a raccoon or panda. She's a fit woman with really strong legs. She often has to have her mouth sewn shut, and she's colorblind, so she doesn't enjoy drawing much because it makes things look abstract. She has a bit of a rocker style in her favorite clothes, besides her boots and worn-out shirts. She likes to listen to old rock music occasionally while cleaning her hammer. She doesn't bathe often, only taking a bath when she's hot. She has a lip piercing and a piercing in her right eyebrow; she swears it makes her look tougher and sexier.

Lulu

She's an 18-year-old ghost, and everything about her is shrouded in mystery. What is known is that she enjoys the darkness. She seems to enjoy the cold and gouging out eyes. She loves dogs and cats equally, often feeding the strays near her home. She likes the colors blue and purple; they are relaxing and beautiful. Although she has no eyes, she sees better than anyone, able to see inside a person. She isn't a particularly mischievous or playful ghost; everything she does is out of boredom. She simply wants to experience sensations of any kind. She enjoys spending time wading through streams and humming old melodies.

She's 1.60m tall, has straight black hair, Asian features, and pale skin. She's very well-developed, but she doesn't like to show it off because she's embarrassed by it and finds it bothersome. She prefers to wear cute, loose-fitting clothes. She loves hairstyles, and her favorite is pigtails. She's a huge fan of anime movies and series; I imagine her as the typical cute and quirky girl who likes to talk about them for hours. Lulu is solitary by nature, although that depends on her mood. She's like "Eyeless Jack" but a female version with more power; she's able to alter reality, the environment, and the sensations it evokes. She does this out of boredom from time to time, simply imitating those around her.

Kate the Chaser

Kate was the Slenderman proxy most affected by his ability and aura. This damaged her mind, and she often acts like an animal, in addition to having stopped speaking. She rarely removes her mask, frequently commits cannibalistic acts, and is sometimes seen crawling on all fours in the woods. She stopped behaving like a normal being long ago. She is now a violent and erratic animal. Kate suffers from severe schizophrenia; Slenderman tries to deter her with his aura, but it doesn't always stop her. Ben and Toby are terrified of her; she always reacts violently and abruptly. They often wonder if she is related to "The Rake."

Kate is 5'10", slim but strong, her hair is always tangled, she doesn't shower, but if getting wet in the rain counts, then she does. She likes baggy hoodies and sweatpants, and her clothes are always tactical, giving her that typical 2000s emo girl vibe, you can't deny it. She's had several arguments with Jeff and Ben because they sometimes cross the line and she doesn't exactly stop to argue. She doesn't get along well with Hobo and Eyeless Jack, but they don't bother her. Sometimes she likes to spy on cute high school girls, not out of morbid curiosity, but because she imagines herself as one of them. There are times when she just wants to be a cute, normal girl with lots of friends, what can I say? Accept her.

Rouge The proxy

Ironically, she shares a certain resemblance with Kate and gets along well with her because they both behave like animals. However, Rouge acts more like an older sister or mother figure. She experienced horrific events in her life that scarred her and turned her into a malevolent being: a miscarriage, the death of her fiancé, and being hospitalized for cutting her wrists while battling depression. Upon encountering Slenderman, her personality underwent changes. There are periods when she behaves like Kate—like an animal with unbridled rage—and at other times she reverts to her old self, but a bit colder and more callous.

She's 1.80m tall, has dark brown hair, an average build, and is a bit overweight. The weight didn't go away after her miscarriage, and the scars she inflicted on her arms are still visible. She often covers them with bandages because she doesn't want people to ask about them; it makes her nervous. She's usually sarcastic and a joker, though she uses it as a way to forget her troubles. She's a die-hard beer lover, bathes often, and frequently drags Kate into the tub so she'll at least smell better. She almost never succeeds, but her bravery and effort are appreciated. She doesn't get along with the other proxies besides Kate. Tim is aggressive, Brian is sometimes brusque, and Toby is a walking disaster, which is why she does her missions alone.
