Do it for the people who were badly affected by this wave of purges. There are people who use tumblr to connect to their friends, interact with their fandoms, and share their beautiful artworks—then to have an AI algorithm cut all that off without warning. Without a transparent reason to.

It's terrifying you know? You don't know what you did wrong, you will never know what you did wrong, and you're faced with the unbearable wait as you appeal for your account.

All because the folks at Automattic decided it was a good idea to run an algorithm on the site to purge a certain type of users without peer review. This last part is PURE SPECULATION. Please take it with a GRAIN of SALT.

So please. Don't do it for me. Do it for the folks who use tumblr for the fun of it, who use it as an outlet as the world burns, who write smut, who share their creations with the world, who interact with people who share their interests.
