fujimoto never fails to let female characters be insane and evil and i appreciate it so much every time <3 does yoru objectively suck? sure. do i like it when she delights in the horrors of man? of course!

oughh im torn. she really seems like a horseman & the first panels really look like control devil antics obviously, but im betting thats meant to be misleading (especially cuz this same guy comes to chat with her & is clearly a nice dude trying to make her feel better, i feel like he could have just taken out the trash bc of that) & panel 2 really seems like she could be death. im hoping its the latter <3

eughhh what is that 🤢🤢 (just kidding. very excited for new body horror & the implications of the concept of justice & other abstract societal concepts being defiled and strung together to pose as a saving grace. something tells me this thing will do very little saving. yay!)

beautiful panels i love when fujimoto treats us to something small & intricate but also some good imagery! i feel like anytime we see stuff like this its always a social hierarchy commentary like within the worldbuilding because everyone here is fighting to be on top, essentially to survive, and in moments like this we see even the ants are part of this chain, some way for the little man to be big still. if that makes sense

God i love when fujimoto makes a character that is just so fucking pitiful.

once again this manga is about base desire…. its about what YOU want. not anyone else. not whats good for the world. and its delicious every time. every stupid and arbitrary reason these characters have to do or not do something is soooo perfect
