i have this issue really bad, and thankfully my closest friends understand it. procrastinating and laying in bed is not a "day off" because i'm sitting in bed doing nothing but being anxious about whatever i'm procrastinating. and i'm very literal about it not being a day off, because my body is still reacting to the stress of having that task on my shoulders.
something people fail to understand is that task paralysis does not make you full of whimsy. i am not sitting in my bedroom watching otzdarva streams for four days and relaxing. i am sitting in bed and only half paying attention to the otzdarva stream while my brain is racing about the task i'm avoiding. i am causing my body more stress.
thus why i have strep :) ruined my immune system with constant pressure even though it looks like i haven't done much the last month :))
