The subway was basically an essential part of New York City life but being stuck down there in a snow storm and power outage? Not so much. Erik found himself annoyed more then anything, though he wasnât how much he liked the idea of being stuck underground very much either. Still, he was calm for the most part. He claimed a seat easily, scrolling through his phone for several moments; thereâd been weather alerts he wanted to check.Â
âWhatâs stopping us from justâŚleaving? The powerâs out, sure. But that doesnât mean we have to stay down hereâŚâ he mused out loud when he noticed someone beside him. âYou think?â

âYou must live pretty close to here.â Or the man had a death wish. Or he just didnât expect much from the snow. Which in itself sounded like a death wish. It was hard to assume it wouldnât be. Dante shook his head, as if the power outage wasnât a sign that it was probably better to stay inside. âIs your jacket that warm that you think you can brace a snow storm?â A snow storm that was probably getting added power from the ocean. But if this man wanted to risk his life, who was Dante. âYou arenât stuck here by any means, I just think it wouldnât be the smartest thing to do.â
