Violet eyes are wide in utter surprise, even her lips parted as she stares openly. When the words finally register correctly she slaps a hand over her mouth before she can let out the most hilarious snort. That hand stays there as she conceals her laughter. Despite her efforts, however, her chortling does slip out for all to hear.
“O-oh my Goddesses!” She cries, seemingly ‘losing it’. “That is so fucking hilarious! I’m going to marry you, gray face!”
She can almost hear Alister screaming from their grave.
"You’re always one decision away from a different life." The deity said as she looked for her next job, in a world still mysterious to her.

Upon the other’s words she can’t help but to look over and raise a brow. How t r u e those words are; they resonate within her for a long moment as she studies the female from head to toe. After her quick study she turns and fully faces her, feeling as if she needs to speak up. Sometimes she just can’t help but to open her mouth and comment.
“Or one decision away from a catastrophe if you’re luck is as bad as mine,” she jests lightly before her expression falls into a more somber one. “That’s a pretty serious statement, though it does hold truth. Not very many people seem to realize how important decisions are in one’s life nowadays.”

Her giggling in quite contagious and it only spikes in volume when her hair is ruffled by the older angel. Golden blonde locks were messy before due to the speed she had been flying at and now they’re even worse. She doesn’t seem to mind it, though. “That was fun, wasn’t it? I didn’t know you could fly so fast, Rena.”

“It might not mean much coming from me but I think it looks gorgeous, nuisance or not.” Her fingers ran loosely through the tresses of blonde hair as Sheena spoke, gentle as to avoid pulling it if she ran into any small knots along the way. “I can’t speak for how it must look when it’s shorter but I can’t imagine it looking bad on you either,” she adds.
“…This might sound really dumb but hear me out for a second here,” she begins after an idle moment as an absent thought caught her attention, leaving a hint of amusement in her voice as she recollected what she was about to share.
“Everyone in Mizuho has dark hair, you know? That was what I grew up used to seeing as a baby so the first time I had seen anyone with bright hair like this, way back when my grandpa took me to Meltokio with him the first time, I thought it looked so unnatural– Or, ah… Unnatural might be a bad word for it, maybe something more like ’ethereal.‘”
There was a pause in her speech as she took up three independent locks of hair to start braiding them together, a crooked little grin on her face despite that all she could hear in the silence was the languid breathing of the other woman. And despite her upbringing teaching her to be on guard more often than not, it was obvious she felt quite relaxed herself from how easy her movements were and the lack of tension in even her arms and shoulders as she went along.
“It honestly struck me as completely otherworldly, and I know now that it’s very common in most other places but back then I couldn’t have been more than two or three years old, so it seemed so incredible.” A little laugh escaped her, not so abrasive as to change the relaxed mood but not stifled either.
“It was terrible though really, I’d ended up asking one of the first people I met who was anywhere near as young as I was if I could touch their hair– And they let me, for some reason beyond me, but it’s so embarrassing to think about now. And it might be ridiculous to say so but this reminds me a little of then.”
All that is given in response is a quiet hum. Again she thoughtfully remarks to herself on how long it is getting—it has a tendency to be a nuisance to untangle after traveling a long way, especially if she had been flying. Even putting it up and away from her eyesight doesn't stop it from getting tangled. The only fix is cutting her hair short, yet, the problem with that is that her hair grows long again only in a short few months.
"I'm listening." Despite her not knowing much about the other female, she does like listening to what she has to say. She assumes it's because the two are a lot alike; at least, she believes they're a lot alike. Raven has no idea about her history.
She nods slightly. Though much is kept secret, it's well known that the people of Mizuho have no fair hair. It comes as no surprise to the blonde that someone would have never seen light colored hair until they came outside of Mizuho. Raven wonders how she would have reacted if she had seen herself. Even she looks out of place compared to those of her own kind.
It takes a second, but the moment she realizes her hair is being braided she leans her head back just enough for the other to braid it easier. If she didn't feel safe like the way she does now she would have never done such a thing.
"I acted the same way the first time I saw magic. I had always been so curious about it, but knew none that could use it. That is until my father and I met a half-elf who was also traveling to the same place we were." Upon remembering the rest of the story she lets out a small laugh. "I wanted magic so badly I think I scared the poor guy with my tenacity. Of course, back then I didn't realize you have to have elven blood to use it."

The last question she's asked has her pausing and thinking. Had she seen anything interesting? She thinks back, but upon recalling nothing of importance she shakes her head once again. Her words are puzzling her, to say the least, but she won't question them. Maybe she'll think more on them later. "Nope. Thunderstorms would probably be the only thing that's partially interesting up there. By the way, what's your name stranger? Mine's Raven."
