“Does this change a thing between us?” Buck asked, his voice low, his hands still framing Eddie’s face. He could feel the unsteady breaths leaving Eddie’s lips, warm against his own.

Eddie looked wrecked. His cheeks were flushed, his lips red and kiss-swollen, his glassy eyes locked on Buck’s mouth like it was the only thing he could see. Eddie looked as hungry as Buck felt. Buck could feel Eddie’s fingers tracing along his arms, squeezing just enough to leave Buck’s skin tingling. “I don’t know.”

It wasn't a 'yes', Buck wasn't sure if he wanted to hear a yes.

“Alright,” Buck exhaled, nodding like it wasn’t a big deal, even if it felt huge. Then he surged forward, catching Eddie’s mouth in his again. The soft, desperate sound Eddie let out—like relief and need all tangled together— hit Buck like a punch to the chest.

that didn't not exempt me from consuming media I shouldn't have had to consume at that age, though...
