Dazeray

Me and Daisy's new Dazeray project was a venture into a 3D musical sculpture installation. With the assistance of Daisy's brother Timmy, we created three characters with the aim of being aesthetically fun but also that could let people interact and have fun. This was all done for Eye Candy Festival 2014! It was great to be part of the festival, to meet a whole host of inspiring artists, friends old and new, and to see people enjoying the work we made! 

A dazeray update on this tumblr is loooooong overdue! So time to jump in and focus on a couple of big things we've been up to, but first here's some quick snaps of me and Daisy illustrating PowerLunches bar in Dalston with sea critters and fish bowls for our friend Jon's 30th birthday! 

New Dazeray stuff! Me and Daisy have been working for Roundhouse's Rising festival this week in partnership with Mike from Bellykids! One of the cool things we've done so far is make this exclusive print that will be on sale this week!

We've painted some new murals for Belly Kids upcoming exhibition "Magic Nightmares"  - finished pictures will be uploaded after the launch on thursday at Scawfell Studios, if you're around come along!

New Dazeray update! Our summer of murals begins with our window drawings for Unit 9's Hoxton Window Mural! The four characters will be up  In Hoxton Square for all of June! There are proper pictures and a video being released next week here: http://www.thehoxtonwindowproject.com/ but if you can check it out then please do, as once it's gone...It's gone!!!!

Ok- so yes this blog is terrible for keeping up to date with our Dazeray activities and yes these are long over due, but for anyone who wanted to see our finished Dazeray "Kurt Cobain" mural pics here on our dazeray tumblr...here ya go ;) 

Me and Daisy have done a bunch of original paintings for the Belly Kids "Kurt & The Gang" exhibition  at the KK outlet opening on Thursday 10th - 7pm, if you want to see more of these then make sure you get yourself there!!! 

Dazeray illustrated the cover for Belly Kid's new book, "Kurt & the Gang" which is an AWESOME sticker book all about Kurt Cobain and that lovely era of the time that was "Grunge"! Check out the cover with the illustration of Kurt by Murray and the fantastic typography by Daisy, both of which are stickers in the book! 

We completed a mural which consists of a whole host of new characters over at Netil House, Hackney! The mural is the beginning of a larger project me and Daisy are working on, but for the moment if you head over to Netil House for a drink you'll be welcomed by this bodacious gang!
