- From the outside, Idia seems quiet, nervous, insecure about what he says and does. He seems shy and anxious, unable to stand the public spotlight. And he may have a lot of social anxiety, but as you get closer to him, you find out he’s quite the opposite of what he seems to be.
- Idia when comfortable is loud, brash, mean. He’s confident in his abilities and what he does, to a level that borders near god-complex at times.
- He’s a cuddle bug, enjoying your presence next to him at all times. Dating Idia involves always having some part of you attached to him in private. When you’re gaming together he likes it when you sit between his legs and lean back against his chest, or when you let him do the same to you. The feeling of your arms around his waist, your breath against the back of his neck makes his hair flare a bright pink at the ends. But encourage him, or better yet, give him some incentive, and he’ll one shot even the most op of bosses.
- Idia’s constantly texting you, no matter what time of day it is. His sleep schedule is safe to say nonexistent, and his social anxiety makes going out to see you in public extremely difficult, so he feeds his constant need to have you by him by texting you all the time. Granted, you obviously have a limited capability for how much you can text back, and this will drive him insane, feeding his insecurities. It takes time and a lot of kisses and hugs to slowly pull that veil of insecurity off of his heart, and make him feel comfortable with the notion that no, you won’t be going anywhere anytime soon.
- On that same note, Idia does have many things he needs to work on. His separation anxiety, guilt, childhood trauma, and a plethora of other problems that plague his mind. The mere fact of you being there, standing by him through thick and thin, always there with some snacks or a blanket, staying up late to game with him or listen to him vent, it fills a hole in his heart he didn’t know could ever be filled. He values and cherishes you more than anything, viewing you as an ethereal being that’s floated down from an angelic land to bless his life with light.
- Dates with Idia are very much indoor, introvert activities. He enjoys gaming dates, movie marathons, you could even get him to do a couples clay date, or paint together. But anything that involves going out draws much anxiety from him. If you’re an introvert, he’s relaxed, knowing you understand how he feels and won’t drag him out more than necessary. If you’re an extrovert, he starts feeling a bit anxious every time you bring up dates, dreading the day he’s forced to face the world. But he loves you, and as much as he hates being out, he hates that sad droop of your excited smile even more. So he’ll do it, he’ll try to go on dates outside with you. Starting small, like a walk in the park, an arcade, maybe the movies. Be patient with your poor boy, he’s a bit of a scaredy cat, so expect him to jump and grab your arm tightly at every slight jump scare.
- Idia’s loaded, and he’s well aware of that fact. His family has more money than anyone needs in their mortal life, and he’s not afraid to spend it on you. Expensive gifts, clothes, figurines, whenever he sees something online that he thinks you’ll like, it’s a couple clicks to express delivery, right to your door at Ramshackle. Whenever he can’t go out with you, whether it be work, a new video game update, or just his mounting anxiety, he’ll make sure to give you his card, with a nonchalant “what kinda boyfriend would I be if I let you go out without this LOL, it’s on me.” He likes it when you spend a lot of his money on yourself, feeling a sense of pride when seeing the smile on your face as you unbox the 10th new vintage jacket or purse he bought you.
