The thing about “Living in the end” that made shit start moving for me
Wanted to share my personal experience with LOA in case it resonates with anyone.
I consumed a lot of LOA content on tumblr (ty for everyone’s helpful posts, yall rock), but I didn’t fully understand it until directly reading Neville Goddard’s lectures. I think tumblr LOA posts are great for when you already have an understanding, but they ultimately did me more harm than good UNTIL I did the background research.
When I practiced “living in the end” by putting myself into the emotional state of fulfilled desires, I didn’t see results. Yes, I had unwavering belief, and yes, I felt the emotions very vividly. But idk, it just didn’t click.
Maybe it’s because I’m INTP, so I’m more “thinking” rather than “feeling” when it comes to things. Idk. But what DID click, was just stating “I’m in a reality where ____ happens” as a fact.
Simple as that. My thought process is this: yes, maybe I don’t have it in my physical reality at this very moment, but time isn’t real. I’m still in the reality where this thing happens to me. My shift is now, even if I’m not planning to see the results until this date in the future.
^i think this is the thought process that took me out of the waiting period. Instead of believing “this thing will happen to me in the future”, which manifests having to wait, I started thinking “I’m already in the reality where this happens”. The shift doesn’t happen in however many days from now when your desire suddenly surfaces, it happens immediately.
I also think this helped me understand what it means to let go. Maybe I was doing it wrong, but emotionally feeling the fulfillment of my desires might have made me too attached to it. For me, what worked was just establishing the fact that I’m already in the reality and moving on with certainty.
Result: I manifested my dream job. It’s one that doesn’t hire often, and it’s extremely competitive. I wanted it for years. What’s crazy is that I didn’t even have to apply for it. The director of the project reached out to ME. That’s when I knew, this is all fucking real
In conclusion: play to your strengths. If you’re a more “left brain” person, you might find it helpful to lean into that. If you’re “right brain”, you may resonate with the emotional route more. Both are valid and both work, it just matters what method resonates with you
